I was in this morning with my daughter, Hollie for her first proper hair cut. The stylist Emma was fab with her! She washed her hair, cut and styled it just as Hollie wanted, even put a curl in before we left. Really appreciated the time she spend on Hollie as we didn’t feel rushed at all! Hollie said she wanted her hair done by Emma every day now!

Second time going here for my hair, both times have been an absolute dream. Everyone is lovely and there’s always a happy atmosphere in the salon. Rachel has done my hair both times and she’s fab, always makes sure I’m comfortable and talks me through the different things she’s doing. I’ve been over the moon with my hair after both appointments and I’ll definitely be going back again.

The cut was first class, as always from Leslie. However what sets Hunter's apart is the customer experience from start to finish. They make you feel valued and not just as a one off but every visit. They never forget your name. We all like the same stylist but I'm fortunate to have three, Leslie, Caroline and Gary who can all cut hair well. Lauren also deserves a mention, an absolute delight wherever in the salon she's working. Highly recommended, professional business.

I enjoy coming into the salon as people are friendly and pleasant and the service is good. I was just a bit shocked by the price with my last trim as it had gone up by £5 and I already thought it was very expensive. I have actually considered going elsewhere as a result but like my stylist. Still thinking though….

FH is very much a home from home for me. I no longer stay in the central belt but anytime I'm home they always squeeze me in somewhere. Lauren was great - coffee was lovely and the service and atmosphere was extremely relaxing.

I was a new client and phoned in the morning and Sam did his best to fit me in, which I really appreciated. In the end Lauren applied the colour to my roots, which was a great match. Sam then gave me a lovely wavy blow dry. Very happy with my experience all round.

Fantastic as ever. Calm, considered and clever cutting.

The one and only place to get my short hair cut; Gary is The Man if you want your Pixie or French Bob look fresh.
