Steve G is such an amazing hair stylist. He immediately got what type of cut suited my hair & listened to & totally got what I wanted & like too. Ross is also a very good stylist & it's so reassuring to have people cut my hair who clearly know their stuff. Tom & Shona are excellent colourists & really lovely people, along with giving great advice on colour & products. Tbh every person who works here is professional, friendly & upbeat. Lisa on recep has the patience of a saint as i had to change around my appts, but nothing was too much trouble & she clearly manages everyone's time perfectly, & tries her utmost to fit in with the times that suit the customer best. The salon itself has a great vibe about it & is modern & individualistic....i can't recommend T&G in Newcastle enough. I am so glad I finally feel I have found my hairdressers to get my hair in top shape again.

I have my colour re-done by Tom every 6 weeks. Keeps the grey in check and gives me the best crazy highlights. Magenta, Pink and Blue this time - love it!!

I was a little surprised to turn up to a closed salon...fortunately I got Good directions from Lisa the receptionist. I felt that Sophie really listened to what I wanted and she certainly delivered. Having short hair it can be easy to not be quite right but I absolutely loved what she did and I love my hair cut!!! I now have the tricky decision of being a faithful customer to Ross (who is also fab) or going back to Sophie ?

Hair appointment was booked for 9am with Charlie. I received a phone call at 8-40am informing me that Charlie was unavailable for my appointment as she was poorly and would I mind having another stylist or re-arranging my appointment. As I've been going to this Salon for quite some time I said it would be fine for the other stylist to cut it. All I can say is Wow ❤️ Shona was an absolute pleasure from the moment I sat in the chair, very thorough and very professional. She worked wonders on my hair and I walked out feeling as I always do when leaving the Salon, AMAZING.......... Keep up the good work Toni & Guy I wouldn't go anywhere else..

Ross consistently cuts my hair brilliantly. I am blessed (or not depending on how you look at) with really thick hair but Ross is always able to tame is and cut it in a way that lasts and keeps it's style until the next time. It's great now my hair grows down not out. Thanks Ross.

Having been to other places with constant disappointing results (my hair is very grey in places and very much dark in others), I was amazed the first time Tom got my hair all the same colour . Since then my confidence has grown and I have tried lots of different colours, blue, pink, lilac, grey -some all over and some just in a flash but all exactly how I wanted it. I really look forward to having my hair coloured and totally trust Tom's instincts. Thank you.

Fabulous new salon with the original high standards. Ross was lovely and put alot of effort into making sure the cut was perfectly straight all around (I had a straight one length cut). Lovely a chatty and interested in what you say rather than just chatting AT you. And the hair ladies are lovely and happy to chat. The head massage conditioning phase is so relaxing. Been coming for years and will continue to do so.

The hairdresser had a general negative attitude, the salon was cold, the quality (or lack of ) does not match the price. First and last visit.
We are sorry to hear of your disappointment.
If you would like to contact us direct to discuss any issues we would be happy to regain your trust. We have taken notice of the temperature and with the salon being new we are working on keeping a nice ambient temperature.

Loved the colour room and relaxing on the sofa whilst my colour was activating. Then having my hair washed and being covered with a blanket was lovely.
The process seem to be quicker? But it wasn't really it was due to feeling like i was receiving different treatments in different sections.

What a lovely experience in the new Toni &Guy salon today. I don't always like change but it didn't take long to settle in . I loved the seperation of different areas. I enjoyed relaxing upstairs when I had my colour applied it is so warm the extra touches of the sofa fire etc made me totally chilled. My thanks to Steve, Tom and all the staff . I felt pampered with my feet up and blanket in the wash area. I always feel as if the attention is given to me , everyone listens . Not only did I leave with a cut style and colour that I love but I felt truly happy and relaxed. Big thank you. Looking forward to my retturn.
