About us

At Boyd’s we love what we do and are passionate about making you look and feel fantastic. We take enormous pride in our friendly, relaxed and attentive approach from the moment you walk in to the salon to the moment you leave.

Our stylists and colour technicians are some of the best, and to ensure we maintain our high standards the team are constantly updating their cutting, styling and colour techniques, this combined with a dedicated passion for our craft enables us to provide the highest level of service to all our clients.

I have been visiting Boyd's for about 20 years. When I visited on Saturday 16th September I decided I felt like a change with my hair colour which I have been having for quite a few years now. I am always pleased with the results but felt like a change. Meg was able to give expert advice and recommend a new colour. She is very knowledgable and I put every confidence in her. I was not disappointed and really love the final results. I would highly recommend her for you colouring needs.

Hair extentions

Will unfortunately never use this salon again !! After initially having hair extentions earlier in the year, some came out, however it was all sorted & I opted for longer extensions, all started out fine, I followed all the "rules" regarding maintenance & bought the appropriate shampoo from the salon, again they came out !! I eventually got an appointment to have the ones put back in but inbetween waiting for this the rest came out !!!! I called the salon to cancel any further appointments & a week later I'm still waiting for a call from Chantelle to discuss !!! To say I'm totally disappointed is an understament as they are not cheap !!!

As you will know this is not how I like things to be done so I will look into this for you ,unfortunately Chantelle has been off for a week , so I think the level of communication is an oversight on our part ,which again I apologize for , I will contact you to get this rectified once I have spoken to Chantelle & I will look into sending the extensions back to the manufacturer to see if they can shed any light on the problem , I hope this is ok for now & will be in touch shortly , Kind regards Boyd
