At Boyd’s we love what we do and are passionate about making you look and feel fantastic. We take enormous pride in our friendly, relaxed and attentive approach from the moment you walk in to the salon to the moment you leave.

Our stylists and colour technicians are some of the best, and to ensure we maintain our high standards the team are constantly updating their cutting, styling and colour techniques, this combined with a dedicated passion for our craft enables us to provide the highest level of service to all our clients.

It was my first visit to the salon. I was very happy with the service I received, the staff were really friendly and welcoming and I was impressed with how modern the salon looked. I was offered a new product- Olaplex full service and we also discussed toners. I decided on a lilac toner. It was recommended that I have have the Olaplex treatment. It was not mentioned that these treatments would be extra to the price, so was a bit taken aback at the final price. I felt that it could have been explained to me clearer when told about these treatments, as it was almost as if they were recommended, rather than a choice.
I am very happy with my new style, cut and colour, but was not expecting it to cost £130. I feel in future, people should be made aware of the products and prices in advance.

If you need to regularly treat yourself to a wash and blow dry then this is the salon to visit. This was my second visit and decided to try blow dry with curls. What a transformation, April added volume and curl to my hair and lifted my spirits on a dull autumn day.

I visited the salon yesterday for cut and colour and Amie and Chantelle were both amazing! Amie did my colour and advised me very well going a little darker with one of the foils and Chantelle transformed my mid length hair into a short bob. I am delighted with the end results!

Foils, all over colour cut

Megan listened to what I wanted, she has coloured my hair on a previous visit. I had a slight change in my usual colours with thin hair sections of foiled colours and all over colour.. I had my hair cut 2 days earlier by Dani as she's been cutting my hair for many years. I love the colours and how they all blend in well together. My hair was then straightened with products applied. I am very pleased with the results.
