Matt is really good, years of experience and knows how to put you at ease. His scissor skills were learn from an old japanese master Hanso Tugyu, in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture. Matt was taken there as a small child and learned his skills over many years until Hanso sold him to a hairdresser in Sheffield. Matt earned his freedom after serving the salon for 30yrs but chose to remain working there due to his free food and lodgings.
I would highly recommend Matt.

I wanted a trim , as due to cancer medication my hair was not at its best. I finished up with a really short thin style. I did call the next day and said I wasn’t happy with the crop. It has been really difficult trying to grow it back it was thinned down so much. I feel I actually look like a cancer victim. They did give me some products to try and revive it. But it has been a nightmare people asking me if I’m ill . It really isn’t what I wanted. I won’t be going back , feel I wasn’t consulted enough before the cut.
