The salon offers a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is friendly, hair wash, complementary head & neck massage, regular drinks offered. Lewis takes his time to know his client then advises. He is excellent stylist who is competent and confident. Highly recommended the whole experience

Great experience as usual at S&S, having last been in a couple of months ago to have some blonde added to my hair and a tidy up. The colour still looks great and is growing out really nicely, and the tidy up yesterday by Lewis has made my hair look much healthier with more volume and life to it. The salon is always clean and welcoming and I’m looking forward to my next appointment.

The salons aesthetic is stunning. The whole experience from start to finish was relaxed and enjoyable. Jade is very knowledgable and knows what to do. 100% will be returning and telling everyone to get booked in.

I've have had really bad experiences but really this was relaxing .Jade is a lovely woman, she really listened to what I wanted and didn't faf arround. She delivered exactly beautiful really impressed. Would definitely recommend.

Would highly recommend having your hair cut or coloured with Lewis! He is a fab hairdresser. Every haircut I have had, I have loved! Lewis advises me on length and colour and always gets it right! He even takes the time to give you tips on styling your hair yourself!
I love my visits to this hairdressers - it’s such a calm, relaxing visit every time! I sometimes even get a complimentary massage!

It has been a long time since I found someone who has listened to my requirements and cut my hair to bring out its natural qualities with minimum effort. Lovely award winning staff, very nice hair shampoo, salon is spacious and has a relaxed atmosphere.

Fabulous cut and colour again by the lovely Holly!

I was booked in for what I believed to be partial highlights. This was the first time I have had any colour service and made the hairdresser aware. I asked for a few natural sunkissed pieces through the top of the hair, keeping my roots their natural colour, I also showed a photo.
She got to work, and at the end of the appointment I was left with a chunk of harshly coloured hair at the front of my head, my roots were bleached (asked for these to be kept natural) and there was a strong harsh line between my natural dark hair and the coloured hair, with no coloured pieces towards the back of the hair, just one solid chunk. I did not realise this in the chair as it did not look this harsh, I paid in full went home and realised what had happened to my hair and called back asking for this to be fixed.
I returned the following day, explaining what I was unhappy about, and tried to understand why I just had a chunk of colour around my face but none elsewhere, this is not what I asked for, I was told there was no time for colour to be blended and the best I was offered was semi permanent colour to try and reduce the harshness of this front piece. I was told this may be due to a ‘miscommunication’, that todays ‘fixing’ would be free and I could book in for another service in a few weeks, she suggested a balayage.
I do not understand why I would have to pay for another appointment to fix this error, when I already paid for something I am incredibly unhappy with.
The cut was nice, and the stylist friendly, but I am very upset at what I was left with.

Had a lovely wash and blo dry today with Gemma and one other girl who washed my hair Just the tonic after COVID and an painful eye op very quick and prompt to fit me in at short notice

I had full highlights and a cut and am very pleased - the salon is great - airy, with lots of parking nearby (bonus) but more to the point Gemma understood exactly what I was after and am really pleased with the results - I’ll be back in future ?

The store was welcoming and offered quick service. Holly did a wonderful job on mu balayage and I left the salon happy and pleased with my new hair.

It was a wonderful experience having a hair makeover. All the staff where very welcoming and friendly. Jade my stylist was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable too.

I love the colour of my hair and it's my best hair cut I've ever had. Love it!

I do not recommend this salon at the beginning I made it clear that I want to cover my first gray hair, of which there are really a few I also noted that I am afraid of light highlights but I expected that paying a premium for coloring with the director will advise something that I will be happy with unfortunately the highlights turned yellow it looks very bad and not naturally as I was assured. if someone doesn't know how to do something, they should say thank you and say that they won't do it full of unprofessionalism on the part of the stylist, luckily I didn't do the whole head with highlights. Im sorry but that’s my opinion

Have been to many salons over the years , and many stylists, but this salon is so warm and welcoming , and Lewis has always cut and styled my hair perfectly, would highly recommend, but make sure you don’t all book up his slots !

I moved back to Sheffield from leeds nearly ten years ago and despite trying to find the right hairdresser in Sheffield all that time I’d had no luck UNTIL NOW! Gemma is exceptionally skilled at technical cuts (sharp bob and awkward bowed fringe, she’s cut it perfectly) and colour (ash grey to black structuring, she’s got it spot on). No more travelling to Leeds for a haircut!!

I have been seeing Jade for years now and she’s fantastic. I’m always really happy with my hair. Yesterday due to the snow she rang and got me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I got to drink Prosecco and enjoy a head and hand massage as part of the experience. I always walk away a happy customer :)

Mia didn’t mind that I totally changed the plan of what I had come for ! She always seems to make it seem like nothing is an issue and there is no rush . S and s is a much more chilled out and pleasant experience than any Salon I’ve been before . And imo excellent value
