Booked in with Georgina for full head of colour (blonde with some darker pieces running thru) and cut/blow dry for my long blonde hair. Lengthy consult before hand and felt at ease. The cut was good but the colour was absolutely not what we had discussed and I was really not happy. So I returned the next day for a colour correction with Abi, who agreed what had been done was not acceptable. So we agreed what she would do to try to correct it. What occurred was awful, I ended up with black hair with grey green streaks.. My long blonde hair now has been completely bleached and coloured two days in a row and I am in tears in the chair. They had no idea why this had happened which makes me feel extremely uneasy that they don't know their products or how to carry out straight forward colouring. I then had to return the next day for them to strip my hair off as much colour as possible, a very harsh process which has left my hair wrecked and I now am so ashamed I'm wearing a hat outside. I have orange pink blonde black hair which feels like cotton wool. It is ruined. I have just spent £90 buying K18 repair shampoo conditioner and oil to try to help my hair recover and I now have to find another hair salon who is willing to take on my hair and try to correct. They did refund my full amount which is appreciated but I am distraught with my long hair which is totally ruined. I have never experienced Anything like this in 30 years of having my hair coloured. Heart broken is putting it mildly.

Having to return on Saturday due to highlights not covering the front of hair line. Still to dark. I feel quite expensive for the job. Abi was lovely though and Freya did a great blow dry but not happy with the colour. Also the salon was freezing, heating wasnt on and I had to put a blanket around me from Freya.

I recently had my first experience at Hobbs, having changed to them as I needed a hairdressers nearer to where I lived. I had a truly great experience- starting with a thorough consultation in which Abi really listened to what I wanted. The colour was perfect as it was really natural looking, but lifted my normal colour. The cut was similarly really good and the blow dry superb, bouncy but again lovely and natural. Overall the salon felt trendy but pretentious and I really enjoyed a steady stream of refreshments. Thank you for making it a great experience as I was nervous about changing saloons.

I had my hair cut today by Freya who
is the graduate stylist. My hair is short and quite thick so not the easiest of hair to cut when you’re not used to it. However, under the occasional guidance of Abi, Freya did a great job and I left with the perfect pixie cut that I had envisioned when I booked my appointment. I will definitely return in a few weeks to keep my hair in the lovely shape & style it is now.
