I had been looking for a full Aveda salon for a while - one which fully adheres to the Aveda ethos and high standards. Not only does Sands do this but the friendliness and welcome I received made it a pure joy. Kay understood completely my issues and problems then cut and dried my hair perfectly - even my non observant husband noticed. I had comments from friends and acquaintances saying how good I looked, my hair was exactly as I had hoped and more. I came away so happy and confident, which is what you want .

Fantastic atmosphere in salon , felt very relaxed , Olivia is very professional, I would highly recommend sands to anyone who would like to have a 5 star haircut or colour and feel totally relaxed and looked after . Can’t wait for my next visit .

Lovely Salon and staff really attentive and friendly. I had booked for a restyle which involved having my hair cut a lot shorter and I was very nervous but my hairdresser Kay really inspired confidence and was quick and efficient without making me feel rushed.
Really enjoyed my head massage and shampoo also.
Thrilled with my new look and have recieved a lot of compliments already. I

Stuart and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Fast confident cut with great bonhommie and friendliness in a relaxed busy salon. Considering my curly ageing grey flyaway hair, he made a great job out of the birds nest he was present with. Will be returning again and again for future cuts. Even us men deserve a nice bit of pampering from time to time :)

Left extremely happy especially after a bad experience else where! My hair feels and looks amazing. My hair had been previously damaged elsewhere but my hair is feeling back after my appointment with sands. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

Once again the team at Sands were all lovely. Ceri gave me a great cut and took such care to get it right - my dead straight short hair is not as straightforward as it may look!

Had a pre meeting to ensure that my hair can be treated, received excellent advise and confidence from Stuart and all booked in can’t wait

My first experience at this salon was 50/50, i went in for a cut and finish, which lasted about 35 minutes.

All were polite and welcoming, drinks offered but the hair service was rushed and unclean.

Kaye wasn’t fully prepared for our booking despite it being quiet, she had to run around for various equipment, and even used an unclean comb after pulling someone else’s hair out of it.

The overhaul finish of my hair was ruched, it required straightening.

Sands Hairdressers is the most professional and friendly place to have all my hair needs dealt with.
The staff are extremely accommodating regarding appointment dates and times, will always do their best to fit in with my availability.
Ceri knows me and my hair do well and I trust her to always do what’s best for my hair.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Attended today for my first appointment and have already booked my next. Staff were friendly and very helpful. With my new hairstyle I feel twenty years younger and enjoying the compliments from my family. I have and will recommend this salon to my friends.
