Had a lovely haircut with Debbie and the best head massage- hair wash I’ve ever had! So relaxing! Brilliant cut and lovely glossy hair.
My four year old daughter came in later for her trim and she loved every minute! They even had a special unicorn robe for the children! Stuart was great with her and did a wonderful job!

I have been going to Sands since it opened and would not go anywhere else.
Ceri is my stylist, however, other stylists have very successfully managed my hair. Ceri is particularly accommodating and alway offers the most professional and caring advice.
The salon is welcoming and very covid safe. Refreshments are offered and I always feel relaxed and comfortable.
I would highly recommend sands hair salon.

Just a perfect hairdressing experience. A beautiful salon, animal cruelty free products that left my hair looking and feeling nourished and shiny. Debbie perfected a creamy beige colour for my highlights and was warm and friendly. Endless coffee, attentive service and a thoroughly excellent experience. It’s clear it’s a real team effort at sands with everyone taking the time and trouble to have a chat. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Thank you x

Hassle free relaxing experience, Professional Friendly staff.

I have regularly attended Sands for over twenty years ... that is a recommendation in itself... I keep going back! I have always received a warm welcome - the salon has an incredibly friendly atmosphere - and, without exception, am terribly pleased with my Aveda hair colour and cut. I recommend Sands as I have yet to be disappointed, the customer service top notch , People working there are most professional, they have skilled stylists, nothing too much trouble to make the appointment a most enjoyable experience, The salon is immaculately clean, comfortable, stylish on decor, with a lovely outlook over Waterloo Gardens or Sands’ back garden of a myriad of potted plants, beautifully placed, very restful to look out onto. I consider myself a loyal customer to Sands and it’s staff members.

I took photos in on the consultation, but on the day something completely different was done. Instead of having something multi tonal it ended up almost one colour. No toner was used and my hair , although it didn't look terrible didn't last and has gone very brassy. Although there is a nice vibe here, I felt as though the main reason I was there was to spend £100 and be really happy , I left slightly upset but don't like to complain

Rehearsal wedding hair came into the salon all the staff were very friendly and warm they took my temperature on entry first time I’ve ever been at Sands salon and what a lovely salon it was . Kaye was my stylist and what a professional stylist Kay was she asked lots of questions e.g. about the veil my dress and my preference of hair up kay was on time and very professional I’d recommend Kaye and Sands to any of my friends and work colleagues very happy and definitely booking for the wedding. .

Wonderful experience from start to finish with Beni cutting and colouring my hair. She listened to my wishes and transformed my dull looking hair into the beautiful choppy style I really love. As for my colour, so natural and the condition is beautiful.
So happy with the friendly service too and Beni is adorable.

My first visit to Sands - a huge thank you to Debbie for rescuing my DIY hair dye job that had left me looking like Roy Orbison. Debbie was slick, professional, ultra efficient and friendly as were all the staff at the salon - thank you too to Kimmy for one of the best head massages Ive ever had.. I came in feeling very anxious about having my hair cut after a poor experience at another hairdressers earlier this year. Debbie made me feel so at ease, she reassured me and talked me through what she was doing. The atmosphere is lovely and the products used were amazing with the lavender and bergamot aromas! I’m very pleased with my haircut and the overall experience, thank you!

I had a fabulous experience at the aveda salon. Lovely hair wash , amazing smelling products and my hairdresser Jasmine knew exactly what I wanted and turned my lockdown split end hair into bouncing shiny curls with beautiful layering. Lovely to be with people who really enjoy their work and want you to be happy. Thank you!

I have been going to this salon for 6 years and without fail they have provided a professional and excellent service. They have good customer care and train all their own staff to maintain this excellence. The staff make sure the customer feels really taken care of. The Avesta products are great and the hair cutting and colouring is top class. The salon is also a great space to relax. I can’t recommend highly enough.
