Had a cut and roots touch up today with Kate. All the staff at the salon are professional and highly trained. I go every couple of months or so and enjoy the ‘salon experience’. I’ve been going since the salon opened (probably nearly 30 years ago!) and have only ever enjoyed a positive experience.

My hair is quite thick, but very fine and dead straight, I like to keep it in a short, easy to mange style, as I’m next to useless at ‘doing my hair’ so it needs to fall into place with minimal fuss. I’ve always found it difficult to find someone who can cut my hair really well so it keeps its style even when it’s nearly grown out. Also I’m not particularly good at explaining what I want. Kate understands me and can do it as well as anyone I’ve ever found. Excellent. Not cheap - nothing is now of course, but very worth it.

Kate was amazing, talked through what I wanted and made a few suggestions. Atmosphere in the salon was lovely and I loved being pampered with hot Walter bottle, warm towels, lovely coffee. Left feeling great and I have had some lovely compliments.
