Stephen gave me a cut today that was exactly what I had asked for and looks terrific! So 😊 happy!

I have booked my hair with Milly since the very beginning, I’ve always felt so well looked after at the salon. Every appointment starts with a thorough consultation to really understand my hair needs, with great communication throughout and realistic goals that are always achieved.
I’ve consistently left with healthy, gorgeous hair and a cut and colour that I absolutely love. The staff in the Cutting Room are welcoming, attentive, and professional who make every visit such a positive experience.

What a find!! Highly recommend this Salon/ Boutique. I thought moving to a new area and having to find a highly skilled hairdresser was going to be daunting, I need never have worried! I made an online booking as a new client and chose my stylist. On arrival Kerri introduced herself, we sat down with a coffee, discussing which style I preferred, my hair condition, products that were applied and any questions I may have.
I went for a shorter style (very brave) which required skill and patience!
I was absolutely delighted with the results and have never looked back. I feel a little guilty that it’s taken 7 months to write a review!

A wonderful introduction to the salon: expert attention tailored to my request for traditional styling using scissors rather than a razor.

I attended The Cutting Room a few weeks ago for a scalp consultation which was very helpful! The products recommended to me have been working and soothing to my scalp, and I also got a scalp treatment. The staff are very friendly, and I was quick to be seen to :)

My second visit to the Cutting Room and enjoyed it so much.
Milly is a credit to the salon taking all my thoughts into consideration as part of my consultation. Semi permanent colour as i've bern au naturel for over 3 years now so baby steps!

After an issue with my booking today, the staff were fantastic and sorted out a colour appointment and Stephen who was on holiday even came in to do my cut. All staff were amazing and the salon has a fantastic vibe about it. So happy with my colour and cut today. Prior to leaving I booked my next appointment to fit in with my next visit home from Stornoway.

Excellent cut, style and advice

Got my hair done today and beyond happy with it, was very nervous as not had colour in my hair for 10 years - milly made me feel very at ease talked me through everything in detail and made sure I was happy with each step. She does her job to a very high standard and I was impressed. Very nice atmosphere in the cutting room all staff very friendly and chatty. Will definitely be back

I had an excellent experience at the Cutting Room Salon this afternoon. Milly is a very professional, skilful and very knowledgeable young lady who cut my thick hair in a beautifully layered style and gave me a very practical advice on how to style and dry my hair at home.

I'm always happy with my hair after Milly has done it, however, this time I'm more than delighted - I just love the colour and the final look of it! Milly is excellent, so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful too.

Nicola is an exceptional stylist who genuinely listens, offers expert advice, and prioritizes the best outcome for her clients. Every visit is a wonderful experience; her cutting, styling, and color formulation are always flawless and exactly what I envision. I visited the salon today as I’d had my hair cut yesterday by a different salon which hadn’t styled my hair how I’d asked. I told Jess the style I had been looking for and let her know exactly what I didn’t want. She did a fantastic job at reviving my curls and did exactly as I’d asked. Thank you Nicola for a complete refresh and working at double speed to get the much needed full head of highlights done in half the time . So happy with my fresh new blonde highlights. A great buzz and atmosphere in the salon and all the team work together to ensure all clients are looked after and attended too.
