I have been visiting Nicola for a cut & colour since moving to Perth a year ago. The service I receive is fantastic. Nicola is not only a great hairdresser she makes you feel at ease, gives honest & good advice, is knowledgeable & experienced, confident & really friendly. I am always offered a drink & a complimentary head massage or hot stones. It never feels rushed or overwhelming. I leave feeling happy with my hair & would highly recommend Nicola to others.

I have never had a stylist take so much time and care cutting my hair. The result is a style that lasts and is super easy to manage. I also loved the complimentary hot stone head massage. Thanks Nicola and your young trainee!

I visited The Cutting Room yesterday for a colour and cut with Jess, and I honestly couldn't be happier with both the results and the whole experience!
From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel so welcome. The girls are absolutely lovely, so friendly, warm and professional, and the customer service was exceptional throughout.

A warm friendly and stylish salon. Everyone is very welcoming and knows you by name making it a very personable service. Treated to teas coffees and herbal drinks. I had a complimentary hot stone head massage today which was amazing and super relaxing by Rebecca. I always look forward to my 6 weekly visit as it always feels like a right treat to myself.

Been coming to Milly for over a year since my scalp started to become over sensitive. Milly is one of the best hairdressers I have been too who had a wealth of knowledge in what colours would work best. The thing that stands out for me is her caring personality. She is genuinely interested in how you are, often recalling previous conversations which I think is special.

I randomly chose the Cutting Room as I was looking for a new hairdresser, I chose Jess because she had an opening that suited me . I hit the jackpot with this girl , she absolutely understood what I wanted, and totally delivered 100%, I was so happy with my cut that I booked a second appointment for colour on the spot . Today I had my 2nd appointment with Jess and she has coloured and cut my hair to perfection, I am so delighted with it I have booked two more appointments. Would highly recommend Jess .

had a cut and colour done with Jess today and I love the result! The colour is vibrant and exactly what we discussed during the consultation, and the new haircut sits really well. The salon is very clean, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I would highly recommend!

Well in the end my stylist turned out to be the amazing Georgie. We turned up on the wrong day for our hair appointments. Georgie jumped straight in and said she could do my colour and blow dry. I had no hesitation and didn’t need to think about it and took her up on the offer. She did a lovely colour with low lights and a super all over temp colour. So a huge thanks to Georgie for her skills and confidence and so nice to have a relaxing hair appointment.

Jess was very professional, friendly and really listened to what I wanted. I genuinely loved my results and was very happy with my hair.

The whole team was excellent, everyone was friendly, welcoming and professional. Congratulations to the salon management as well; it’s clearly a very well-run establishment with a great team and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend them.

What a find!! Highly recommend this Salon/ Boutique. I thought moving to a new area and having to find a highly skilled hairdresser was going to be daunting, I need never have worried! I made an online booking as a new client and chose my stylist. On arrival Kerri introduced herself, we sat down with a coffee, discussing which style I preferred, my hair condition, products that were applied and any questions I may have.
I went for a shorter style (very brave) which required skill and patience!
I was absolutely delighted with the results and have never looked back. I feel a little guilty that it’s taken 7 months to write a review!

A wonderful introduction to the salon: expert attention tailored to my request for traditional styling using scissors rather than a razor.

I attended The Cutting Room a few weeks ago for a scalp consultation which was very helpful! The products recommended to me have been working and soothing to my scalp, and I also got a scalp treatment. The staff are very friendly, and I was quick to be seen to :)

My second visit to the Cutting Room and enjoyed it so much.
Milly is a credit to the salon taking all my thoughts into consideration as part of my consultation. Semi permanent colour as i've bern au naturel for over 3 years now so baby steps!

After an issue with my booking today, the staff were fantastic and sorted out a colour appointment and Stephen who was on holiday even came in to do my cut. All staff were amazing and the salon has a fantastic vibe about it. So happy with my colour and cut today. Prior to leaving I booked my next appointment to fit in with my next visit home from Stornoway.

Excellent cut, style and advice

Got my hair done today and beyond happy with it, was very nervous as not had colour in my hair for 10 years - milly made me feel very at ease talked me through everything in detail and made sure I was happy with each step. She does her job to a very high standard and I was impressed. Very nice atmosphere in the cutting room all staff very friendly and chatty. Will definitely be back

I had an excellent experience at the Cutting Room Salon this afternoon. Milly is a very professional, skilful and very knowledgeable young lady who cut my thick hair in a beautifully layered style and gave me a very practical advice on how to style and dry my hair at home.

I'm always happy with my hair after Milly has done it, however, this time I'm more than delighted - I just love the colour and the final look of it! Milly is excellent, so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful too.
