Saw Bobby and she gave me the best haircut that I’ve had ever. No seriously. I’m not a great confident salon bunny and quite admit to a bit of low maintenance, but i do love and recognise quality when I see it! That’s completely what I received.

Great head massage from Molly that nearly sent me to sleep and then a brilliant cut and style from Dani, who manages to work her way around my nightmare double-crown and make me look presentable. It's always such a pleasure coming to Indigo Rye. I know I can switch off and let myself be pampered and that I will love the end result. This was my first time having a cut with Bobby and she took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted, gave me advice and made sure I was happy at every stage with what she was doing. I have long, thick and wavy hair so not the easiest to deal with but I was so pleased with the end result. It is a joy to find a salon that goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the end result and is local. I can 100% recommend them and have done to many friends, who are now all coverts too!

My hair was nice and I was happy with the results at the end of my appointment. I must say the atmosphere put me on edge for the duration of my visit. I could hear staff talking about one another coming from the kitchen/ staff room. I would not want to work in an environment like that.

Emma has been my hairdresser for a long time and has always done and great cut. She is very friendly and approachable. I took my 4 year old granddaughter for a cut today and Emma was fabulous with her and she even allowed her to wash and condition her hair as well. Her advice on the cut was really good. Would highly recommend Emma.
Amazing service as always. Love my time at the salon enjoy everything about it and the head massage is a favourite. I’ve had Karen cut my hair for years and she always does an amazing job. All the staff are so friendly and happy.
Charlie has been cutting my hair for many many years. I've gone through long, medium and short lengths and each time it has been the perfect cut. She's a real whizz with scissors. I always feel a little happy skip afterwards! Thank you Charlie and also the other lovely, helpful and welcoming staff. Indigo Rye is a wonderful joyous nugget in the heart of Wallingford.

Indigo Rye has a friendly atmosphere. I’ve always found all the stylists to be reliable and consistent, although Dani has become a favourite. They listen to what you want and give excellent advice.
Amelia listens carefully to customers and offers excellent advice. She gave me a lovely re-styled cut and I am very pleased with the result.

Covid redundancies and months spent alone had taken their toll on both my hair and mood.
To finally get back to the salon for a cut and catch up with my kind and talented stylist Amelia means both my mood and appearance have brightened together.
Spot on time appointment, lovely colourist and great hair result, really pleased.
Karen is a super stylist and the salon is a delight. All the staff are charming and there is great attention to detail. Too marks for the coffee!

From the moment I walk into the salon I feel looked after. Fab wash and brilliant cut by Dani. Left feeling like a model with stylish, swishy locks. Great salon. Great team.
My daughter, Laura and I immersed ourselves together, once again, in our double haircut and finish treat. This time it was different as I’d had vertigo for over two weeks and hadn’t left the house at all. Still feeling wobbly but otherwise well, I was gently supported with such care over to the basins and then returned to my seat. Raeus and Amelia worked their magic as we all chatted and laughed Thank you girls for another great haircut and fun morning.
