Lovely cut, really pleased with my hair, Thankyou. Sue is a friend as well as an excellent hairdresser. The atmosphere is really good and interesting, i love the hubbub!

I arrived for my normal appointment but feeling slightly bored with my hair. Derek talked me through some ideas and as I totally trust him went what he suggested. So very pleased I did, fantastic haircut feel more myself and it is so versatile. I love my visits and my chats and laughter with Derek and have built so mych trust with him. Thank you ever so much you always have great ideas and execute them fantastically.

I came in with a mood board of shaggy/mullet-style hair cuts, and Derek nailed it. Took my hair from thick & unruly and revealed my natural curls. He worked with my hair type, and it's been a dream to style at home. Given I wasn't feeling too great with an ear infection, it was such a good time. I didn't get the name of the person who washed my hair, but they were great to avoid my ear and giving a relaxing head massage.

I've been coming to Tuckwell and Co for 2 years now and have never looked back!

My hair since then has been so healthy and I’ve gone back to her every time for highlights trims, styling and I always leave absolutely buzzing with the results! I’ve been to Sophie for a couple of years now and it’s always been a great experience. Tuckwell and Co is such a lovely and welcoming salon. Sophie has always done such a good job and is great at understanding what I would like. I can’t imagine going to anyone else!

Sophie, is literally one of the kind - I’ve had my hair done by Sophie for several years now and can honestly tell you that you won’t find a better hairdresser/hair stylist than her!!! I had bleached my hair at home around June 2022 and half of my head of hair snapped off. I dyed it back to black and didn't touch it for 6/7 months. It was finally at a length where I could get extensions added to even everything out and to fix my mistake. My confidence was ON THE FLOOR, I was worried my hair couldn't be fixed. I had a consult with Sophie and she immediately reassured me that she would be able to help and do some extensions for me to get my confidence back. I got them done and Sophie has boosted my confidence SO much with her skill, talent, kindness and empathy. She's done a brill job and it now looks like I've got a full head of hair. The most talented woman in the game, I'd recclmend her to absolutely anybody. Thank you Sophie for making me feel like myself again x

I always have a fantastic time at Tuckwell's, I find the salon very friendly and vibrant with activity, on this occassion I was on the peaceful top floor which is very calming. I left the choice of colour for my hair with my stylist and what he selected is beautiful and makes me smile every time I look in the mirror. Being somewhere that I feel my alternative style is understood means I am happy to put my transformation in the hands of staff, which they clearly enjoy too. The process and products were explained as we went along and my hair is now in beautiful condition.

From start to finish Tuckwell and Co was great, I was greeted with a drink of my choice and seated in a cosy sofa as I was a little early for my appointment. My stylist Kath was amazing, she really listened to what I wanted and offered advice when needed. I am beyond happy with my hair and will definitely be back.

Lovely service, knowledgeable staff

Really happy with the colour - Sophie did a brilliant job, especially as this was the first time I’d been at the salon. She was really speedy (I have thick hair so this is a first) and the colour looks great. The only area for improvement would have been the blow dry - the stylist (not Sophie) only put a tiny bit of hairspray on my hair, no serum or other products were used and as I’d just had a full head of bleach highlights I would’ve liked a bit of something to help it feel a bit smoother. I also advised the stylist I liked it very smooth before curling (I use straighteners at home as my hair is very thick) and she gave it a quick blow dry and then curled it which left it a bit fat and frizzy. For the price of £32 for the blow dry I probably would’ve expected to leave the salon feeling great, but I tied my hair up and restyled it when I got home. This is no reflection on the stylist herself, she was lovely, and I don’t like giving negative feedback on the spot so didn’t want to say I would’ve like a smoother styler before I left. I also wasn’t shown the back of my head at all - I am really happy with the colour, but I didn’t get to see the back until I got home. Hopefully this doesn’t come across negative as I didn’t have a negative experience at the salon at all, but wanted to be honest about where the experience could’ve been a bit better. Thanks again

Shannon is my go-to stylist. Today I told her to do whatever she felt was right with my colour and cut and it is THE BEST haircut and colour I have ever had. I am over the moon and my partner loves it too.

I had a brilliant experience from start to finish with Ella. After showing Ella some images of my desired hair style & balayage, it was executed exactly how I had wanted. I left with a natural looking balayage which blended seamlessly into my natural hair colour. Will be returning :)

She was absolutely amazing! She was so meticulous with my hair and got it to the perfect length for me. She also helped train someone up and was so patient and lovely during it.

Grace did an excellent job at cutting my hair- it was a big chop and she intently studied my ‘inspo pics’ so she knew exactly what I wanted. The head massage during the wash was also incredible!
