KH Hair Salon Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

My full fringe needed a trim before lockdown even started, so after 4 months of lockdown “grown out” was an understatement! I’m so pleased to have my fringe back now and Beth as always did a great job with my hair. The salon felt very safe and everything was handled professionally, so I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again in these COVID-19 times ??

Felt very safe with all the covid procedures in place , so happy to finally have my hair cut by an excellent stylist , after looking for so long and having some bad experiences with other salons around Nottingham. Thank you so much.

Was wonderful to finally get back to the Hairdresser after lockdown. Gill did my hair with the wonderful 'pinky' tones and everyone loves it. A trial run for my 'Mother of the Bride' role hopefully in September

Absolutely love my new hair! I find it hard to get my straight hair cut well so I can wear it down so soon after it’s cut, roisin knew exactly what I wanted and I’m so happy. Not only that but she was friendly, so knowledgable and made me feel really relaxed. Lovely salon. I’ll definitely be back

Beth excellent as always however due to the steep price change I will be seeking another salon I expected to pay a little more but i was over whelmed at the price this time which was over 20 pounds more than the most I have ever paid there

Have been using KH Hair for a number of years now, service has always been great from all the staff. Had my first appointment last week since February, from booking in to the explanation of how things would work during the current situation I can’t fault the staff at all. Great colour & colour from Jack, made me feel so much better. Nice to be in a safe environment for both staff & customers alike. Thanks all

I thought that everyone working in the salon seemed knowledgeable, calm and reassuring given the current situation.
Procedures were clear but yet also felt relaxed and friendly.
And great haircut : )

From start to finish I was treated impeccably and nothing was too much trouble.
My stylist Jack was wonderful and listened to my request and went above and beyond and I will definitely be going back.

Fantastic service, as ever, I felt totally safe as so many precautions are being taken; temperature checks, masks, visors, deep cleaning, washing gowns, hand sanitiser etc etc. The team couldn’t have been more helpful.

The atmosphere didn’t have the usual buzz but that’s totally down to Covid restrictions.

So great to be back. A lovely few hours on Saturday, restoring slightly more colour than silver. Thought it might feel wierd to be back, with changes but so well thought out and felt very comfortable and safe. Left feeling properly pampered, thankyou.

I have been a client if KH Hair and in particular Mary for a while now so my hair is in extremely good hands when I go there. But my visit last week was above and beyond a hairdressers. I didn’t think I had anxiety regarding the current situation but it would seem I have. The team at KH Hair calmed me immediately and made me so much at ease. I genuinely can’t thank them enough. This is above and beyond a hair salon and the team there are simply outstanding.

My hair had grown so long and felt such a mess I was so glad to have my hair cut and blow dried.
It was my first time meeting Ruth and I found her very friendly and helpful.
Ruth soon transformed my sorry locks into a well cut style.
My experience I encountered of the Covid-19 measures in the Salon were both bearable and acceptable given the circumstances.
I left feeling safe and satisfied.

I would never have known that I was in a salon mid pandemic. Everyone was so calm, relaxed, and the atmosphere was incredible. As always, Mary worked her magic on my often difficult hair, and I’m not ashamed to say I shed a few tears at the end result. It’s been a long time coming but I feel like me again, and everyone has complemented how amazing my hair looks.

The salon is really well prepared and I felt safe at every stage. It felt so good to have my hair done again and lovely to see Jess! Well done Sean and Debbie - you’ve done us proud!

So pleased with my hair appointment, lovely colour and cut. Jack took great care and I am so pleased with the result. He understood exactly what I wanted and recommended treatments which have certainly improved my hair.

The haircut was excellent and it was lovely to see Gill again. A real lift. No problems with a safe experience. Only downside is the cost.

First post lockdown visit and as I would expect from Sean and Debbie it was fantastically organised. Welcoming and safe, their customers needs and welfare are at the heart of this business. Attended KH yesterday for my first hair appointment with Gill since lockdown. It was such a treat to get back into the salon and for Gill to work her magic on my hair once again. The atmosphere was very relaxed whilst keeping everyone‘s safety in mind. It was clear that the salon and all the staff had the customers safety central but also made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. I even forgot I had a mask on! It was lovely to see Gill again and I’m extremely grateful for the amazing hair due! Absolutely love the cut and the colour (as always). Thankyou so much for making me feel like me again! X

Had an appointment during lockdown which obviously couldn’t go ahead, got a call from the salon to rebook for 11/07, couldn’t believe how they could get me in so soon and was delighted!
Like a lot of people at the minute, lockdown has had a negative impact on my mental health and I have to say my trip to the salon did me the world of good!
The salon has made a huge effort to keep everyone safe and not only did Jack work his usual magic on what had become a mop on my head, but his sunny, gentle and always friendly manner just gave me such a boost. Was so lovely to catch up with him.
Already can’t wait to see you all again in 8 weeks!

Very happy with all the precautions in place and very pleased with my haircut as can now look in the mirror and smile instead of frown! Joy is a joy as always.

Lovely service from the moment i came through the door to leaving, made the whole experience so much better. Emily was helpful and friendly and i was able to have exactly what i wanted and i’m so happy with the results. They also ensured it to be safe and socially distant when possible.

I was very impressed with how my first visit was following reopening salons since Covid 19. I could see the care and attention that was in place to ensure customers and staff were kept safe with good social distancing and control measures in place. I was particularly impressed with how the salon chose to prioritise customers by ringing customers who had already had an appointment booked before lockdown. This was excellent Customer Service. Thank you.

It was great to return to the salon, despite COVID restrictions it was still an enjoyable experience and staff made me feel relaxed. Beth was amazing and I left the salon feeling Great.

I visited KH hair Nottingham yesterday for a much needed hair appointment. Debbie greeted me and explained the safety rules and took my temperature.At all time’s throughout my visit the staff were working so carefully to ensure the customers safety and comfort. I can’t praise Debbie & Sean and all their team for the fabulous experience I received yesterday, I felt safe and cared for at all times. Thank you all for going to so much trouble.

It was brilliant to be able to come back to KH Hair again after so long. Steve was, as ever, excellent and had my hair looking amazing again in no time.
I had no idea how much I'd missed having my hair washed by someone else!
I couldn't have felt safer in the salon. Everyone was sticking to the guidelines but at the same time it didn't take away from the salon experience.

I have always felt like I was valued when I walk into have my hair done, the whole experience is very professional and special and although I was a little nervous about going back in these trying times (covid) they didn’t let me down, not only was the whole experience as good as it has always been, they pulled the stops out to make me feel safe xx

Back to get a well needed haircut after nearly 4 months in lockdown. It was great to see that the staff at Keith Hall had spent a lot of time and effort devising the safest way to welcome back their customers in these trying times. A friendly welcome as usual, well drilled procedures and strict adherence to hygiene and social distancing was great to see - and the best that I've encountered so far!
Mary was, as always, extremely friendly and helpful. As my hair was so unusually long, I had a vague idea for a new style and Mary listened to my idea and expanded it with great recommendations. The end result was fantastic and I can't thank Mary enough for her help and expertise in delivering exactly what I imaged.

Really well organised, great welcome back. Everything was tip top. So difficult for staff to have to wear PPE all day but everyone was smiling and there was a lovely atmosphere in the salon. Well done to KH.

Clear advice received pre appointment. It was obvious a lot of thought and work gone into preparation for staff and clients to be able to attend appointments. The salon was calm and professional, as always. I did miss the glossy magazines and the offer of a coffee, but water was an option, hopefully we will be back to some kind of normal for my next appointment. Thank you KH Nottingham

This was my second visit to the salon after 4 months without a haircut and for someone who has short hair that is cut every 5 weeks it was a task for Mary! The salon is set up really well with new measures in place to keep staff and customers safe and well. Felt at ease as soon as Debbie greeted me at the door even though I was in a face mask which all customers must wear at the moment (a small price to pay to keep staff safe). Mary did an excellent cut and I’ve woken up this morning a new women. Definitely a great salon that has it staff and customer welfare at its heart.

My experience was wonderful as always. Felt very safe. All was very efficient but caring. Sean and Debbie....are great. They have handled everything so well.

KH hair had done everything they could to make me feel as safe as possible.
The salon was immaculate, all staff were wearing relevant PPE, clients were also wearing face masks. Each station was thoroughly cleaned after each client left, a one way system was in place and social distancing was being implemented with many chairs out of use and protective screens between wash basins.
The staff used sanitiser to keep equipment safe and all clients were temperature checked on arrival and asked to sanitise their hands too.
Emily was careful to follow all the new rules and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I felt safe and cared for and Debbie continually checked that rules were being followed by staff and clients. Thank you for making my first visit back a safe one, you’ve all worked so hard to make this happen. Thank you to Emily who not only made me feel safe and relaxed but also for a fabulous hair cut and colour.
