Hairven Salon Gedling Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

My first time at the Salon which was lovely and relaxing. Hayley does my hair and has done for many years and I’ve followed her from her previous salons! She’s amazing and very knowledgable and friendly.

I enjoyed my visit to Hairven today, as always! Megan did a great job with both the colour and cut of my hair and I love the effect of the foils. Megan is always so friendly and pleasant and I look forward to our chats. Thank you.

I can't say I'm thrilled with my hair, feel like I could have been advised better re: colour options and my hair didn't feel great when I left. When the hairdresser took out my foils it hurt and then had the roughest wash ever. And then combing a little later was painful! At cutting stage I wasn't asked what I wanted to do with my fringe, I had to ask if it could actually be cut.
The blow dry and style seemed a bit average and rushed. No talk about my hair condition or how I should look after it, would expect that when you're paying this much.

Nikki has done my hair for years. She’s absolutely amazing.

Prices have gone up a lot recently so I’m sorry to say that I won’t be able to come as often in the future.

I always enjoy my visits to the Gedling salon. Amy is a talented, skilled professional. She really listens to me and doesn't just do her "own thing" as many hairdressers do.

Crag cut my hair last week. Was incredibly helpful and made my whole experience at Hairven just swell! Will definitely return again. Everybody was warm and welcoming and took great care of me!

Been coming to Hairven for about 2 years and love it . my hair has never been better and much cheaper than city centre salons
I have seen about 3 hairdressers here and they are all great.

Mitch was very kind and professional. I was given a lovely head massage and lots of advice on styling my hair. The place was spotlessly clean and everybody was very friendly. Couldn't ask for more!

Everyone was super helpful and friendly and very professional. From the reception staff, to the stylists, to the ladies offering refreshments.

I had a treatment today and my hair feels so soft. Stewart really looked after me. I also had a gloss on my hair which looks has made it look really good. Thanks for taking good care of me.

Mitch was brilliant with my daughter, he listened to what she asked for carefully and gave her a perfect cut! She couldn’t be happier!

After having a good colour consultation I felt confident that I was going to get the blonde tones I asked for but it was much lighter and far less warm tones than I was lead to believe would be in the result. After discussing my cut, style and fringe/ bangs and showing Mitch a photo of the desired result, he cut my hair, the length was fine, nice view from the back but I lost my longer sloping fringe even though when he first started to cut the front I reminded him that not to cut my fringe any shorter. Mitch was very pleasant, happy and attentive but unfortunately he failed to really listen to me as the result shows and I left the salon very upset.

Tanya took the time to discuss what I wanted , she even showed me some pictures to make sure we were on the same page. I was more than delighted with the results.
