The apprentices were so helpful and polite. My children had cuts and they made the girls feel grown up and special. I would highly recommend this salon and the staff just make your experience. with very naturally curly hair it had been very hard to find a stylist that could cut and style my hair to wear everyday without tying it up, Holly totally understands my hair and the cut is always beautiful and easy to manage.

You’re made to feel like the centre of the world in this oasis of friendliness and expert care. Holly takes care to listen and advise - and I’m always delighted with the results.

Saks has been around for as long as I can remember and I recently returned. It's a really lovely, stylish, friendly, welcoming salon. Staff are great and very skilled. Glad I came back and would highly recommend!

The salon is a very friendly environment and the staff are very good at what they do. You can relax and enjoy being pampered - a bit of “me time”.

You don’t just get a haircut, although the hair quality is superb; you don’t just get free drinks, you get people who give of their best and give of themselves. Care, courtesy and friendship. Fantastic place. I highly recommend it.

I find the staff both friendly and efficient nothing is too much trouble. My hairdresser Ashley is both up for change and a challenge, when I want something different, and always has ideas and talks you through them so your on the same page, which is always very pleasing.

Louise was really helpful in suggesting what to do with my hair which is just what I needed. She was so nice, friendly and professional . The young lady that made me a perfect cup of tea was lovely too. We now have a plan for my hair so I am really happy. Love the drinks lounge too!

I have been coming to this salon for many years and always emerge feeling relaxed , rested and perhaps most importantly , delighted with my hair. This is a family owned salon where everyone takes an enormous pride in their work. Today I have had a great cut delivered with care and precision and a beautiful , carefully finished blow dry . Thank you to Ashley and not forgetting Darci who gave me the most wonderfully relaxing head massage .

I can honestly say that this is the best my hair has looked after an appointment. Emma did such an amazing job and I will be going back. She is so chatty, helpful and clearly loves what she does.

Jess is a lovely girl who listens to what I say with regard to my hair. Often offering her advice and guidance. She is easy to talk to and the appointment flies. She is not frightened to ask for help and takes on board advice from senior stylists.

I am 17 months old and my hair was very long. It was only my 2nd time visiting a hair salon but I was looked after so well. I was given lots of biscuits and Louise was very smiley and we sang wheels on the bus together. She was lovely and I gave her a high five at the end.

I always have a great experience at Saks when I have an appointment from the friendly welcome when you arrive and the offer of refreshments. The atmosphere is always good and the music in the background creates a nice vibe. Holly has always been my stylist and has given great advice about styles to suit me and then following up with a great haircut. I look forward to every appointment.

Ashley cut my daughter’s hair to a really stylish bob after she donated her long hair to the little princess trust. He was very patient, knowledgeable and showed me how to style her short hair going forwards.
