I always feel welcome and relaxed at Saks. Robyn is so skilled and takes so much trouble. Today I walked out feeling fabulous, like a whole new me, full of confidence. It is nice to feel like that!

An excellent salon all round. Staff know exactly how to interact with clients, they are personable and knowledge. All extremely good at what they do. I've been coming to Saks in York for 30+ years, so I think that speaks for itself!

Quite simply, SAKS York is the best salon I’ve been to, ever. Stylish environment, chilled and super-friendly atmosphere, brilliant stylists and colourists. An appointment there feels like a mini-holiday and my hair always looks incredible.

The team at Saks in York are experienced, friendly and listen to what the client wants. Ive tried several of the premium hairdressers in York and for me, they are the best all round value

I've been going to Saks for hair since I moved to the North In the 90s, first to their salon in Bolton and then to the York salon since 2001. They really are the best in the region for haircut, hairstyling and colour. I highly recommend them.

Going to the Salon is like a catch up with friends. Holly always looks after me and my colour and cut is always on point. The team in the salon are friendly and accommodating.

I always enjoy my visits to saks and catching up with Robin who is a joy and a very competent hairdresser and colourist.

Holly is wonderful, really encouraging and supportive as I move from dyed hair to grey. Great haircut-she is an excellent stylist and great company too! The salon is full of smiles, welcoming and relaxed - thank you

The hairdresser was really nice with her and made her feel like she was having a grow up pamper session. She washed, cut, and styled her hair. She even had a head massage.

A big thank you to Jess who has done an incredible job with my dye job. Going from frazzled hair due to bleach and box dye, to somehow making my hair glossy and a beautiful colour is incredible. I didn't think it was salvageable, but she did such an excellent job. Thanks also to the girls who got me a coffee and spoke to me about my colour options during the consultation and appointment. Everyone was so so helpful, I really appreciate it x

From the moment you walk in, there is a warm welcome and you feel at ease. My colour from my previous visit had lasted brilliantly. I really value Robyn’s expert advice on colour. I had a relaxing colour, shampoo, treatment, head massage, cut and blow dry. Robyn cares about every detail and I feel that this shows in the end result.

Ash is a great hairdresser who really understands hair and how to work with a haircut to suit the person
