After yrs of going to hairdressers who ask you what you want to do with your hair ,regarding hair style/cut/colour,, you then tell them ,when shock/horror you find yourself getting home and realising that your fringe is far too short and hair that looks lopsided,l basically you were never listened to!! But let me stop because believe you me,I could write a book about hair horrors!! Having lived all over the world and had to sooner or later go to a local hairdressers!!
At last in Hannah I have a found a amazing hairdresser who is worth her weight in gold,caring ,attentive,patient(she needs to be with me) understanding the list goes on and on!! She is just a very kind,amazing hairdresser and lady.
Can I also say how polite,attentive and very caring in her job I found Meghan to be !

My first visit to the Contemporary Salon today. My stylist Sam was great. She made me feel at ease and listened to my requests and gave some great tips and advice on my hair. The final style was perfect, just as I had imagined and didnt think was possible. I felt so good for the rest of the day, it really boosted my confidence. I look forward to my next appointment.

First time visiting this salon, previously have been a regular customer at their Harrogate branch.So I am in a position to compare the 2.
Staff friendly and knowledgeable.
Was expecting the complimentary head and neck massage but was not offered,maybe this is something that could be introduced?
I had a regrowth and I am very pleased with the outcome. Also had a wet trim, literally, just the ends taken off, which again I was pleased with.,because of my hair type I didn't have the same treatment as ordinary customers. I never have my hair blown dry as it would make my hair frizzy, so always apply my own products at the end of treatment. I think with this in mind it would be a really nice gesture for me not to have been charged the price of the cut and blow.
Would I go back? Definitely, if upon making my next appointment that these factors will be taken into account, and I be charged for not having the cut and blow..? Just a few suggestions, that I hope will be helpful.

I had Sam who was extremely helpful, she gave me exactly what I wanted and also lots of helpful information about my hair and how to look after it. I was very happy with the result and thought it was fairly priced, there was also a nice atmosphere. I will be back there for my next appointment!

I’ve been going to Sam for years and years. I actually went back to her after trying somebody else. Such a lovely lady, service is always amazing and she gets it right every time. And I am very fussy. Wouldn’t go any where else. 10/10 xxxx

Sam done an amazing job of a restyle of my hair. She advised what would be best for me and what would suit me. Sam was so pleasant, professional and totally made me feel I was in good hands. I would travel from Sunderland to here to get her to cut my hair again. That's how impressed and delighted I am. Shes made my holiday. Thanks so much.

Exactly what I’d hoped for. Elliot listened and got it totally right.
I’m transitioning from brunette to grey (major build up of box brown dye) and the fine ash highlights he has put look amazing.

Over the moon with my hair new haircut, my stylist Sam was just amazing in everyway. Next holiday in Whitby I will be heading straight to Contemporary, then on to Emma's Diner.

I am always happy with my visits to Contemporary Whitby. Today was particularly good due to Kelly's return. The salon is friendly, very efficient and has skilled staff.

Last minute appointment made with Sam today, all staff were really friendly and welcoming. Sam provided a great service and left my hair looking fabulous, thank you again!

I visited the salon whilst I was on holiday. Very welcoming, friendly staff.
I went for a totally different style & was talked through everything. So happy with my new style. Only disappointment is that i live 4hrs away otherwise this would definately be my new stylist.
