About us

Situated in the heart of Dalkeith lies our flagship Eskbank salon, offering a welcoming, enjoyable and vibrant atmosphere to all who visit. Located within a beautiful corner space (which was previously a garage!), our Chapter One Hair Spa is a destination like no other. Our stylish salon offers fabulous hair expertise whilst also being the home of our dedicated nail technician, LVL lash technician, as well as our beautiful, relaxing beauty spa with two beauty treatment rooms and beauty experts. Chill out with a visit at the start of the week or soak up the bustle of this busy salon as we get you ready for the weekend. Private parking is available on site just metres away from the salon means you can easily visit us any day of the week.

Going for a very strong copper colour - niki fantastic throughout- really taking the time to explain everything- styled lovely abs delighted with new colour!! Had a lovely head massage and great cup of coffee too!

I had Laura Stevenson looking after me today and she was very friendly and put me at ease straight away. I was so happy with my end result and felt amazing . I will definitely book an appt with her again. Abbie (I think was her name ) washed my hair and and gave me a lovely massage , also very friendly .

Really pleased with my colour Emma also Abby who dried my hair was very good she even explained to me how to get more volume in my hair & to be honest she did a good job because my hair is very thin. Well done. Thanks to you both. X
