Had a lovely relaxing experience in the salon love my hair which was done by Rachael, spoke with some other members off staff who were all very friendly and welcoming.

I love getting my hair done at Chapter One. It’s always an experience & I love that about it. The young girl who washed my hair (Abbey?) was lovely & really attentive. She gave me a fab head massage too.
As always I got great service from Natalie, nothing new there. She’s just the best! She always knows what I want. I’ve come home feeling chilled & loving my new do. Thanks Chapter One!

The team in eskbank are always so welcoming and make you feel like a star! From the moment you walk in, every member of the team engages with you and really makes you feel special. All the little touches are lovely and make this place really stand out from the rest. You walk out feeling like a different person thanks to Emma D - she always gets it right and makes sure you are happy. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair but her. She is simply the best!

Had a full re-style (colour and cut) as a first time Customer with Cameron. Absolutely love my hair! The online booking system was so easy and everyone in the salon is extremely friendly.

Another fantastic experience, at Chaptor One, got my roots done and had pink added to my hair. Great service from entering the salon until I left. I absolutely loved my head massage, so relaxing.

I came in for something different with Cameron last week, in the past I have had full head foils & became a block bleach blonde Cameron advised me a stretched root may suit better with some foils scattered at the front. A week on from the change and every time I look in the mirror I love it more! Such a positive experience for a big change! Thankyou so much for professional expertise Cameron look forward to coming again in 2 weeks time!

In the past, I would always go to different hair dressers and never looked forward to getting my hair done or was never always fully happy with the result. This all changed when I tried chapter one for the first time! Marianne has been absolutely amazing since my first appointment and I’ve never been happier with my hair. She is so friendly and incredible at her job. I now look forward to get my hair done- the salon is so comfortable and chilled and the massage chairs are an added bonus! Thanks so much marianne!

Myb a bit pricey but worth every penny .

Very relaxing, great for my dry heels. Rachel was lovely & listened to what I wanted. My feet are tickly so she was careful around those areas.

Can't fault Chapter One. After many years of trying to grow my hair I now fully trust Paul to know what's best for my hair type.

From the moment you step into the salon it's a very personalised experience, with the immediate offering of coffee you are made to feel welcome and comfortable. After previous experiences with salons it can be a bit intimidating, but going to Chapter One feels like a treat and the atmosphere is always a cool vibe. The salon is always kept clean and meticulously maintained.

The most important thing for me when going to a salon is to trust the person cutting my hair, and I certainly trust Paul 100%.

My hair has always been difficult for me to handle but after a great cut and constant advice from Paul, it’s no longer my enemy. Even though I’m no longer in the area I happily drive a 40 mile round trip for my haircut

I'm fortunate to have Natalie as my stylist for at least 10-11 years now. Always ready to discuss and advise on any procedures and never been disappointed with results. All the staff are very professional and friendly within a relaxing environment.

Emma is so friendly and listens to what you would like in terms of your haircut, it always turns out exactly how I picture. She also gives great advice on products and tips for looking after your hair. It’s always sound advice. She has a lovely friendly personality and makes you feel at ease and confident in her skills. I would recommend her highly...she is excellent!

I’ve had haircuts in many places and haven’t been overly pleased with the cuts for quite some years. I’ve been going to Debbie for a year now and she really is a great hairdresser; I’m really pleased and very grateful to have found her. From a very fussy customer.

I go to Chapter One every 8 weeks religiously and each experience is completely lovely. The salon is clean, professional and comfortable and is always a buzz about the place. The whole team is really friendly, expecially Stef the receptionist who can never do enough to help and is such a great welcome when you go in.

My hairdresser Rachael is just excellent, I can't say enough how good she is at her job. I think she has taken the time to not only understand my hair type but also what my goals are. She doesn't just do my hair she gives me tips, recommendations and advice on growing it out (which is my main aim). She is a warm lovely person and puts you at ease quickly. I'd recommend her to anyone.

I always leave chapter one feeling happy and relaxed, not just because my hair is looking great but because it's just been a nice way to spend a few hours.
