The results were absolutely wonderful, I’ve never been complimented so much on my hair. Everyone was incredibly kind and informative since it was my first time in a salon. Well worth the money!

What I asked for/pictures shown, was blonde with brown lowlights, natural tones and had chunky highlights. What I got was a dark overall grey colour with face framing. What she did was done well but a completely different style and colour than what I asked for.

Called in for consultation spoke to lovely Frankie explained how I wanted to embrace my grey hair. My hair was a mess from another hairdresser too blond for my natural hair. Felt it was in bad condition. Frankie has now blended my hair and honestly I love it. Feels so much better and looks amazing. Would encourage anyone who wants to accept their grey hair to have a consultation with Frankie she is so informative, professional and explained in great detail what would needed to be done. Will definitely be back again. Thank you so much Frankie.

From start to finish Frankie was attentive and helped with decision making. She didn’t take my choices away but gave her honest opinion which honestly - I loved. We wanted to go for blonde but understood that it was big step to go from natural dark brown hair and didn’t want anything harsh or high maintenance. Frankie suggested to go for balayage and from there I just left it to the professional… amazing, will definitely ask for Frankie again!!

I was very happy with my overall experience with Mark and another assistant who helped him they were really sweet and Mark was the best when it came to advising what style would suit me and it made me feel really good about my hair .

Nicole was friendly however person who washed hair got water all over my face, was happy with outcome of hair but was expecting hair to be styled as a curly cut should be either finger coiled or styled with a denman brush and was also left under the hooded dryer for 10 minutes after the hair was done overall cut was great but thought other bits of the service could of been better

This was my second perm with Lisa S, and once again she did an amazing job. Lisa is professional, friendly, and really knows what she’s doing. She took the time to make sure everything was perfect, and the results exceeded my expectations. My curls look fantastic, and the overall service was excellent from start to finish. I cannot recommend Frankie highly enough. From the very first appointment, she has always been kind, welcoming, supportive, and incredibly talented. No matter how busy she is, she always tries her best to fit me in, and every visit feels like catching up with a friend.

Second visit with Lucy and it certainly did not disappoint! Colour is spot on, she’s so understand int and just gets it… highly recommend!

It's years since I've ve been to a town salon. I had a great experience. The salon is light & airy, the staff friendly & welcoming. Scott my stylist was vey experienced & gave me a great cut & finish & I was very happy wirh my hair cut. I will definarly go back.

As always Sarah and Frankie are so friendly and always do my hair just how I like it.

This was my 1st visit to Voudoo & I wasn't disappointed. On arrival I was offered a drink. Prior to my appointment I had had a consultation & cour patch test. Sarah took great care going over possible colour combinations & styles for my hair. She took a lot of time when cutting my hair & she explained what she was doing. I am delighted with the result. Sarah was friendly & chatty & made me feel relaxed.

Rene cut my hair exactly how I asked. She was friendly and was very approachable when asking about how I wanted my hair cut. Would get my hair cut with her again. Two thumbs up 👍 👍

Absolutely loved my experience here! The staff were so kind, welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I’m genuinely in love with my hair they did such an amazing job. I have naturally curly hair and it’s usually really hard to get that sleek look, but they managed to do it perfectly while still keeping my hair looking healthy and beautiful. Everyone was so lovely, from the person at the front desk to the two amazing ladies who did my hair. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!

Despite me explaining how important it was for me to keep my hair at least medium-length (and him agreeing we'll keep it resting on the collarbone) the stylist cut it MUCH shorter than discussed. As a trans woman with plenty of experience being forced to get haircuts I didn't want and that were greatly damaging to my sense of identity from a young age, I can confidently say this is *the worst* haircut I've ever had in my life. While I understand I am not a great communicator, I do feel like my words were not taken into consideration.

As for my fringe, seemingly no attempt was made to integrate it into my haircut other than to draw a line straight across my forehead. I am reluctant to make any further judgement, as I'm genuinely curious to know what my stylist was "going for", however as someone who regularlys get my bangs trimmed I am confused as to how poor the stylist's work appears to be. As expensive as it is, it appears attention and consideration to the clients wants and needs is not one of the premium you are paying for at Voodou. This weekend is set to be the loveliest we’ve had in ages and I will be doing everything in my power to avoid going out...
