I found this life changing service whilst searching the Internet for help. I'm 48 and had resorted to wearing pads everyday as even coughing or sneezing would result in a small accident. After speaking with Charlotte who is an expert in her profession and having a taster session I couldn't pay fast enough. I have to admit as impressed as I was with Charlotte's professionalism and assurance that I only needed 6 sessions I was silently skeptical. How very wrong was I, after only a couple of sessions I'd gone from not even being able to tell if I was actually doing a pelvic floor contraction to being able to feel the difference with Charlotte's guidance. By the end of my 6th session I no longer need to wear pads. I can sneeze without fear. My confidence has grown. I could not be happier! I am however sad that my sessions have ended as chatting to Charlotte during my sessions felt like a different kind of therapy. You are amazing at your job Charlotte and work miracles. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone it is a life changer. I can't thank you enough xx

I was doubtful but desperate when I found Charlotte and booked my taster session. When Charlotte told me I'd only need 6 sessions and my pelvic floor muscle would be working again and I'd stop needing to wear a pad. I couldn't book in fast enough but have to be honest in my head I was still thinking even if I just have improvement i will be happy no way can 6 sessions fix me. I couldn't even cough, sneeze or shout my son down for tea without an accident!! Fast forward 6 sessions: I can now feel my pelvic floor muscle working when I'm doing pelvic floor exercises (before the only thing I could feel lifting was my eyebrows) I no longer need to wear a pad. I can cough or sneeze without fear. I am amazed at the results. Charlotte is so lovely and makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. The chair itself is nothing to be fearful of, the therapy does not hurt at all. This therapy has boosted my confidence. Actually a little sad I only needed 6 sessions as I loved chatting with Charlotte. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone.

Charlotte is a very warm person and very engaging. She put me at ease from the start. The sessions are both therapeutic and educational. You learn how your anatomy ‘down there’ works so you can carry on at home with exercises to keep the pelvic floor muscles working. I wish I had discovered Female Health Matters earlier.. it’s already made a difference after 2 sessions. I enjoy going to the treatments. I come away feel revitalised and feeling positive

I came across Charlotte on Instagram when I was pregnant with my second surrobaby as I had suffered badly with prolapses and nerve damage after my first surrogacy in 2020. I knew I couldn't rely on the NHS to help me get things back on track and would have to take my health into my own hands. As soon as I hit 6 weeks post partum I booked a free consultation where I met Charlotte and went through EVERYTHING. All four pregnancies and births, my overall health and most importantly what my pelvic floor is, what it does and HOW TO DO AN EFFECTIVE PELVIC FLOOR CONTRACTION!! Then I had a few minutes on the machine, so I would know what to expect from a full session. I booked a course of 8 on the spot!! 2 days later I turned up for my first session and whilst I would get 150 hours worth of pelvic floor contractions done just by sitting, fully clothed, on the Powerform chair, Charlotte doesn't waste a second of the 27 minutes the session takes and guides you through several pelvic physiotherapy exercises. Combined with the homework (optional, but highly recommended) it's no surprise that 8 weeks later I was a different woman. I even ran the length of a car park at 10 weeks post partum without a single leakage! No pads needed. No period pants. I am confident sneezing, laughing, jumping, shouting, dancing and can walk miles without needing to stop for a wee all the time. I'm 42 and haven't felt this confident in my pelvic floor since my first baby 17 years ago. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

As a 35 year old mum of 2 I've always had bladder problems since being a child. Charlotte has changed my life. I can now run again and play chase with kids, go on trampoline, wear normal underwear that don't cater for pads and I don't wear pads anymore. Work has been easier as I'm not constantly worried about weeing myself. Not only are you paying for the service of the chair but also in Charlotte and the self belief and exercises she gives you to carry on long term. If I need to I will certainly visit again but with Charlotte's exercises I shouldn't need to which is a shame as she is a lovely person who genuinely cares

I have experienced prolapse issues for some time after having 3 children. I am in my fifties and been under the NHS for many years and the last resort was surgery which l wanted to avoid .
I did some research and found Charlotte at female health matters and l am so glad l did . From the consultation l just had to give this chair a go ! I completed 6 session and l can’t believe the difference this has made. I no longer experience any leeks , no longer were a liner/pad and that heaviness has gone . It is so important to maintain the pelvic exercises afterwards as having woken up and activated this muscle we need to keep on top of it . She was very lovy explained the procedure fully which made me very excited, to be honest with you with the difficult subject she explained it with so much ease and I felt very comfortable during the consultation then gave a great advice would highly recommend as she is very knowledgeable in what she is talking about, and with lots of experience.

I have been praying for a miracle because I'm on a waiting list for a hysterectomy and really want to avoid surgery. I have had 3 sessions so far and cannot believe what is happening to my pelvic floor. Charlotte is so friendly and makes you feel like you've know her forever. I was very skeptical as have been very disappointed by consultants and nobody could really explain what was happening to me and my quality of life was very limited. Had the seat procedure, due to leakage down below, when sneezing snd coughing Charlotte was amazing, helped with the process, great all round treatment felt the difference in the second session

Charlotte was so informative from start to finish. My condition was getting beyond embarrassing. It prevented me from leaving the house and was limiting everything. After 8 sessions on the magic chair I am completely fixed I no longer wear pads anymore!! I would recommend to everyone. In fact I do.

I had never heard of this before and was desperate to find something that would help which didn’t mean surgery. I was a bit sceptical but this proved to be the answer to everything. Charlotte was wonderful, so friendly and knowledgeable. I went to Tenerife for an holiday not long after treatment and was able to do our normal 11km walk without having to plan where I needed to stop off. The relief was amazing.
