Paull has been cutting my hair for years. He is such a perfectionist and ALWAYS does a brilliant job. He is obsessed to make the cut the best he can, making me feel like I'm his only client, which of course I'm not, he's a very busy man. He's also very good to look at in a man crush kinda way, bit jealous!! The new decor in the place gives it a vibrant energetic feel too, which is a lot better. Loves
my highlights were blocky and rushed i had to get a toner elsewhere as i felt very rushed and not listened to properly.

The Decor is a little kitsch and tired and not up to the standard of others in the same same price range , the sinks aren’t entirely sanitary they smell really unpleasant for the client
Cut was ok for the price if you need a quick fix,
The salon is not overly clean with hair on my section and the cup was not clean.
I have head patches of broken hair from a perming appointment I had here, thankfully it is growing and will about an inch long soon,
Maybe the products used were not acceptable

I came here for a baliage service to my hair instead of my usual highlight that I have always done, elsewhere in other salon , is took less time than what I am used to , colouring is patchy but the result is not at all what I want ,worse colour experience I’ve had and now I Am using a salon close by for further hair re designs
My hair is cut ok but not even as a blend and now is uneven for wearing down, salon is like 60-70s look and not modern also is not relaxing due to smell of the area I get to my hair washed -

Being going to Vicky and Cutting Room for number of years for Hi Lites and cut and never left disappointed. They are excellent and very professional hairdressers always delivering to client requests.

My salon experience with the Cutting Room has been wonderful; lovely, friendly and sociable staff and a very comfortable atmosphere in general. My first time visit was a complete restyle haircut which turned out fantastic and more than what I wanted with the professional advise of the hairdressers. I've continued to go back for a trim/styling because of my great experience.

Before going to The Cutting Room I was dealing with the typical hair stylists who thought they knew best and only pretended to listen. I pretty much gave up on ever leaving a salon happy with what was done. I have paid many people much more money, spent much longer on their chairs only to leave them not sure if anything was even done to my hair. The Cutting Room actually know how to listen, they don't just glance over the photo you show them at the start of the appointment and do whatever they want anyway , they actually try to replicate it. As a customer you want to receive the product you're paying for and The Cutting Room do just that for you. Couldn't fault them. Vikki is a bleach queen and everyone is so friendly. I would definately recommend cutting room leicester.They are welcomeing and friendly, paul has been cutting my hair for the past year and i always leave the chair happy with his work. When i phone to get a appointment they always try there best to fit me in around my work commitments.
I've been going to cutting rooms for years and my hairdresser vick is amazing does a great job every time. Rest of the team are lovely and atmospher is brill. Excellent salon good stylist are had to find so when you do you can't let go.

I've been going to Cutting Room for a few years now and get my haircut mainly by Paul or Vicky. Regardless of who it is, they are pretty much spot on everytime. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed. I have recommended lots of people who are now also regulars.
I've been a Cutting Room client for 23+ years! Whichever stylist I've had, they've been great and if the cut and finish is fine then price isn't so much of an issue. However, the salon is looking very tired and it is need of being spruced up. The client loo is a bit of a shocker - Fenwick's offer a far cleaner toilet but that's crazy! The salon's reputation has been built up over years of hard work, please don't let it become tired and tatty because whilst I might not go elsewhere some of your other clients will which is a shame!
I come to the cutting room every three to four weeks and wow what can I say.... Best haircut ever is a good start... I step though the threshold hold people flock towards me "can I take your jacket" "would you like a drink?" I'm shown my throne no need to say my name they know, they know who I am! I feel special, I feel exclusively with everything they do. My barber sees me and gives me a look like I know what you've come here for "the usual" I reply "Yes more of the same please!" We engage in conversation, current affairs, sport, work he just knows what to say. After all the pleasantries we get down to the cut it's self the reason I'm here! He confidently man handles my hair showing no restraint on the out of place hairs! They're gone! He shaves he cuts he combs he repeates until we are both in ore of what's just happend.. People may say "living art" in the form of hair I don't know all I know is I look good, ready to take on the world with my new hair cut with a rough and ready look only me and my barber knowing the lengths gone to to achieve this look... We finish, he holds the mirror behind my head "is that ok? Is it long enough on top" I'm shock all I can say is "yes" it's like there's a halo above my head only I can see.. Time has no meaning any more I'm late for work, I don't care I cannot take my eyes off the mirror I'm fixated.. My jacket appears, I exchange money it's all a blur, we shake hands "see you again soon" I can't speak I walk out fresh air hits me like a train back in the room... I look at my reflection in the window "wow" I say out loud and continued on to my daily business...

A dreary sat morning livened up by the team at Cutting Room. Always a great cut and a good bit of banter in a pleasant friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The Team always look after you there and there are some top class stylists. Vicky does mine and always leaves me looking my best. Really can't fault her. Great experience as usual!
