About us

We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.

Great cut at an awesome salon

My hair was in dire need of a cut, I had previously phoned my old salon to find that my regular stylist had left, as she always cut my hair as short as I like ( which no other stylist could) to say I was distraught was an understatement. Anyway I decided to try 1302 hair salon and was not disappointed as my favourite stylist had moved there from Urban Chic also in EK, I was delighted. The salon is ultra modern, very comfy seats and the girls were all so attentive and complimented on my hair that Judy did her magic on. I was offered wine, Prosecco, gin , beer or tea and coffee. I was delighted with the whole experience and this will now be my regular salon. What a great asset you have to your team in Judy. Thanks for my fab cut Judy

It was my first time in the salon and Judy did an amazing job correcting my hair from brassy blonde. She spent a lot of time on my hair to make sure I was happy and made me feel so at ease.

Best colour I have ever had! The results were truly amazing, modern and beautifully balanced. Emily took time to chat through what I wanted as I have had many a colour disaster!! But I shouldn't have worried as the colour and cut were beautiful.

My friend persuaded me to try another hairdresser. “She’s great!” she said “She’s a lot cheaper “she said. So I gave her a try and NEVER AGAIN! my hair was a disaster!!

I was miserable for months as I had to give my hair a chance to grow before going back to Katlyn to cut and style it properly.

Lesson learned. Katlyn is a stylist. She doesn’t just cut hair. She is fantastic!!!! I will never trust anyone else to cut my hair.

Thanks again to all the girls at 1302. Fantastic staff, great atmosphere and more importantly the best stylists and colour technicians

I’ve been coming to the salon for a few years now and, as always, have been made to feel very welcome and almost like part of the team! Maria has been colouring and styling my hair for years and I know she particularly loves to get stuck in with her scissors and thinning shears to tame my bulky locks! (which can take a while!!) All the staff are great and love to have a giggle which makes for a great atmosphere. I would recommend a visit to 1302 to anyone.

The girls in the salon made my 1st visit very welcoming and enjoyable.

Katlyn talked me through the colour choices and was able to freshen up my colour getting rid of noticeable bands of colour.

We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.
