I've been getting exceptional blowdrys including a brilliant service at Serene ever since I found the place. I always get complimented on how my hair looks after the blowdry.

Went to Serene for a complete colour change. As usual Megan made sure I left with exactly what I’d asked for. The friendliness and professionalism is second to none. If you haven’t visited Serene then you should!!

Popped in last week to ask about availability - very helpful and accommodating. Felt at ease and confident that Clare would listen to what I wanted.
Arrived for my appointment today - quite nervous as have had previous poor experiences at other salons.
Was made to feel welcome, able to relax, calm atmosphere.
Discussed hair colour and style and let Clare begin. Everyone was friendly and whilst it was busy there was no feeling of being rushed and it was calm and peaceful.
Really able to relax and enjoy having hair done.
Nice touches in the salon, bright, set back from the entrance and really peaceful.
Colour, cut and styling were exactly what I had hoped for.
Couldn’t have hoped for a more wonderful experience. Have booked my next appointment before I left - which I never do …….

My hair used to break easy and would not grow. But after visiting Serene, with the help of Jacqui and her fantastic hairstylist skills, my hair is now in great condition, and the cut and colour is perfect.
I now always look forward to my appointments.
All the team are friendly and welcoming.

I was so nervous about starting the process of lightening my box dyed hair! But Jemima was honestly so understanding and explained the whole process. It came out amazing and I am so happy with my hair! Defiantly recommend Jemima to anyone looking for starting that process!

What a lovely and positive experience today! After my last visit 'elsewhere' left me feeling deflated, frumpy and old fashioned, Clare soon had me feeling fantastic and my hair looking sleek and modern! I may not look it on the outside but thank you for restoring my inner goddess!

Everything was good and jemima so friendly and great at her job. Very pleased with the results.

Following from my last review, I would just like to say how wonderful Jacqui has been with regards to my complaint and appreciate that she took time out of her Bank Holiday weekend to read my email and deal with my complaint. One bad appointment with a stylist doesn’t make a bad Salon, I have been with Serene for a number of years and will continue to go there to get my hair done. So thank you Jacqui

*name removed* did my hair today as Clare who I usually use was unavailable, which I was told, my appointment was at 13.15 today Sat 29th April, I received a phone call at 9am asking if I could go in early so I arrived at 12.45, told her what I wanted done which was full head of foils, the colour is nice and the cut is ok, I still needed to shape my hair around my face when I got home, or rather my neighbour did, but when I told her how I wanted it styled, which is how I have always had it styled, I got told sorry I don’t have time for that, you didn’t ask for it when you booked your appointment, something I have never had to do before, so it just got straightened but not very well as she was in a rush then told me she could curl my hair but it would take another hour, it was gone 4pm by this time. I did express how unhappy I was and that I had never to say at time of booking the appointment how I wanted it styled and usually I have the foils done then hair washed then cut then styled (many many hairdressers have always done it this way) not dry, straighten then styled to be told that she wanted to make sure it was done correctly which is why she couldn’t style the way I have always had it done. No apologies and still paid the full money when I left. I did say to Clare that she will be doing my hair from now on if I come back. To make things worse my neighbour said to me I thought you were getting your hair done today. The stylist said that the person who does the bookings didn’t give her enough time for my appointment and had other clients waiting. Totally not happy with the service today, I have been coming to Serene for 3/4 years and have never experienced this before and other members of staff knew I was unhappy with my hair.
