I have tricky. wavy, dry, frizzy hair and have struggled with it like you wouldn’t believe, my whole life.
I have been to some of the most expensive hairdressers and spent a fortune on products with little or no improvement.

I have now had 3 haircuts with Gary Wilde, who I just went to on the offchance- and can’t believe the difference!

He just instinctively knows what to do with it, really listens to what I want, and gets on with it with no fuss. Very talented and a lovely chap too.

I went in with longish hair and decided to go for a bob cut and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Gary was absolutely brilliant: professional, friendly, and clearly skilled. He talked me through each step of the process, explained how to style it, and really listened to what I wanted. I showed him a few photos and he nailed the look perfectly. This is honestly the best haircut I’ve ever had. I usually feel a bit nervous or unsure after a big change, but this time I felt instantly confident. Thank you Gary!

Gary is an absolute legend when it comes to curly hair! As a 15-year-old with wild curls, I’ve had my fair share of questionable haircuts—but not this time. Gary knew exactly what to do, shaping my curls perfectly without the dreaded frizz. He also gave me some amazing tips to keep my hair looking fresh. Super friendly, super skilled—if you have curly hair, go see Gary!

Gary took time to understand what I want from a haircut and was careful to check out my current hair length, type and condition and asked questions about how I style it. He made suggestions to give it more movement and texture and was friendly throughout. I’m really pleased with the cut and feel confident that I’ll be able to style it several ways at home.

Was not advised on costs

I’ve been to various hairdressers over the years and this is the only establishment that has made me feel truly comfortable from the offset. Yes, the new site may be a tad smaller than the previous one, but it’s a lovely chilled, relaxing space. I’m in safe hands with Gary as he always knows exactly what to do with my hair when I don’t. As an added bonus the chat and sense of humour are pretty good too.
