As always a very warm welcome and a nice relaxing time all staff are very friendly and as always my hair is the best it has ever been
Such a lovely salon with really friendly staff. They were happy for me to bring my life with me and to set up camp for my appointment. Kept offering refills on my green tea and even gave me a complimentary hair treatment. So happy with my colour- Nathan never disappoints!
All good crack but a bit too short this time, probably going long again.
Excellent cut. Dani took a great deal of time and care over it.
I was unhappy with my hair from a previous colour and Kirstie today sorted it right out and made the colour absolutely perfect, exactly what I wanted. I’m so pleased. Such friendly welcoming staff, a lovely salon. Thank you!

Very good cut. Ian actually listens to what the customer wants. Takes time to ensure you come away feeling good about your hair. The salon is bright & very friendly. Not in any way intimidating as so many trendy salons can be. I would highly recommend.

I had my hair done by Dani who, I felt, is very friendly and caring. She listened to me whilst also taking time to clearly outline what she had understood from me and what she intended to do with my hair. I felt very involved throughout the process. The end result was extremely clever, caring and thoughtful. It was an amazing match to my natural hair. colour. Dani is obviously a very clever stylist and hair colourist.
This was my first visit to the salon. I loved the airy feel of the large space and the relaxing and friendly vibe. Whilst waiting for my colour to take I enjoyed looking around at other stylists working on their clients. I was impressed by the obvious professional and clever hairdressing taking place.
I will definitely return !

The whole team at Open Hemel are lovely as soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is great and Eliott is FAB! Eliott is so knowledgeable and always has a plan on how to make my hair feel fabulous. I’ve never left disappointed and I always leave with a specially recommended product which allows me to have salon hair at home! Such a treat whenever I go to see Eliott ?
Dani always listens to what I want. The outcome is always perfect. She’s so kind and always makes sure I’m looked after. Best cut a colour I’ve ever had! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now! It’s a beautiful salon and amazing value

I am a pensioner and love the attention I get, I have been to many local hairdressers, Open in my opinion is the best, strangers are now complementing me on my hair.
I love going to Open, the staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. My stylist spent time to chat through what I wanted and discuss options, the end result is a fabulous hairstyle which is easy to manage. The only thing missing is a regular front of house person, staff are good but a professional front of house team is invaluable. This is the only thing that they could improve on.
Elliott, maestro, cuts my hair with flair and attention to detail - he is a talented, warm- natured stylist. I feel thankful to be his client at Open Hairdressing. And I pray that the salon will thrive and prosper, for their hard work, genius and commitment.
Ian spent time to consider my hair, how it grows, and what would be possible and suit my face/head shape. He is clearly very knowledgeable and talented. I came out of the salon extremely happy with the outcome and have recommended the salon and Ian specifically to my daughter.

This was my second appointment with Dani and I’m really happy with how she works with my hair. She listens to what I want, still makes some suggestions (which are welcome!) and is generally a really lovely person. I’m leave the salon feeling great and enjoy the appointment with her.

Words cannot describe the work Ben did on my hair. I come in every time with a picture and he always deliver. This time I wanted Rihanna short hairstyle and he exceeded my expectations. Ben is the reason I keep coming back. And he's sooooooooo funny???
And I want to add a word for Rihanna the one who washed my hair.....BEST HEAD MASSAGE SO FAR! Thank you guys can't wait for my hair to grow so I come back???
My first time visiting, and I had a really nice experience. Everyone was super polite and lovely, and I'm very pleased with my hair. I also saw the lady's hair in front of me, and that looked lovely too! Will definitely go back!

After my first visit in March last year I returned to the same friendly welcome from the cheerful peeps at Open. Nathan's cut and his colour advice were spot on and I've booked in for my next appointment in August. Even the local coffee spot was a perfect recommendation for afterwards. Love the atmosphere here and Hemel Old Town itself is a treat.
