Ben and the team at Open Hemel always create a great experience every time I visit. Top stylist, warm and friendly staff & environment, great head massages with every hair wash and to top it all off, an excellent coffee, beer or gin and tonic while your getting your hair cut. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. My wife also visits regularly for her cut and colour and is always over the moon with the style, cut and colour and the service while she is there. Also really like the small touches like a helpful text reminder ahead of your appointment.
Very professional and experienced stylist. Listens, takes the time and effort to produce fantastic results, complimented by many friends and family. I feel great too.

Ben has been cutting my hair for several years now and always does an amazing job. I totally trust him to give me a flattering and easy to style cut. The salon experience is great, the atmosphere feels like meeting up with friends in a cool but friendly cafe.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Tai for my beautiful new hair colour! I decided to do something really different and add pink to my hair and I don’t think I’ve ever loved my hair more.
Elliot also did my cut. He listened to my concerns about my thinning hair and reassured me and made me feel at ease about it all. He advised me about different hairstyles and products that would boost my confidence and make me feel less self conscious.

Ian is very confident with curly hair and indeed his skills shone through. He was sure to ask exactly what I was looking for and did his best and took his time to give me what I wanted. I’m really happy with my haircut and he was very friendly and easy to chat to too.

I am thrilled to bits with my new haircut created by Ben. Excellent cut and customer service. I had not been to the salon before so didn’t know what to expect. As soon as I walked in I was made to feel welcome. Ben came and introduced himself and spent a long time discussing how I wanted my hair cut. Even when I went to have my hair washed he chose what shampoo and conditioner to use on my hair. Ben kept me informed of every step of the cut and gave me brilliant tips on how to blow dry my hair and maintain my style. I have already booked my second visit as I was so pleased with my haircut and salon experience. I am sorry I did not find this salon sooner but I will definitely be using it from now on. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I've been going to Open hairdressing in Hemel Hempstead for about 2 years now. Nathan always cuts my hair and is excellent. Even when it's growing out his cuts are so good it still looks like a style! Everyone who works there is polite and friendly and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

I can in with an already short cut that had been done for a specific style but looked awful unstyled. I’m growing it out so was nervous to cut more off but Kirstie did an amazing job abs it’s a great shape and well on its way to bob.
