I am a pensioner and love the attention I get, I have been to many local hairdressers, Open in my opinion is the best, strangers are now complementing me on my hair.
I love going to Open, the staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. My stylist spent time to chat through what I wanted and discuss options, the end result is a fabulous hairstyle which is easy to manage. The only thing missing is a regular front of house person, staff are good but a professional front of house team is invaluable. This is the only thing that they could improve on.
Elliott, maestro, cuts my hair with flair and attention to detail - he is a talented, warm- natured stylist. I feel thankful to be his client at Open Hairdressing. And I pray that the salon will thrive and prosper, for their hard work, genius and commitment.
Ian spent time to consider my hair, how it grows, and what would be possible and suit my face/head shape. He is clearly very knowledgeable and talented. I came out of the salon extremely happy with the outcome and have recommended the salon and Ian specifically to my daughter.

This was my second appointment with Dani and I’m really happy with how she works with my hair. She listens to what I want, still makes some suggestions (which are welcome!) and is generally a really lovely person. I’m leave the salon feeling great and enjoy the appointment with her.
Fantastic as always!! Sarah always cuts and blow dries my hair exactly how I like it and is always so helpful!

Words cannot describe the work Ben did on my hair. I come in every time with a picture and he always deliver. This time I wanted Rihanna short hairstyle and he exceeded my expectations. Ben is the reason I keep coming back. And he's sooooooooo funny???
And I want to add a word for Rihanna the one who washed my hair.....BEST HEAD MASSAGE SO FAR! Thank you guys can't wait for my hair to grow so I come back???
My first time visiting, and I had a really nice experience. Everyone was super polite and lovely, and I'm very pleased with my hair. I also saw the lady's hair in front of me, and that looked lovely too! Will definitely go back!

After my first visit in March last year I returned to the same friendly welcome from the cheerful peeps at Open. Nathan's cut and his colour advice were spot on and I've booked in for my next appointment in August. Even the local coffee spot was a perfect recommendation for afterwards. Love the atmosphere here and Hemel Old Town itself is a treat.

Another great cut as always by Eliott! Not only does he do a fine cut time after time, he and the team make it a pleasant and enjoyable experience to boot. This is said by someone who has been having cuts for over 60 years. :)
A stonkingly great haircut by the superbly talented Elliot. He manages my tricky tresses with a skill I have never discovered previously in any of my 62 years. He is a miracle worker.

I have struggled to find a salon that can listen to me and understand what I was aiming to achieve. Dani completely listened and worked with me to achieve the results I love. The salon has a nice warming feel and even better when you have complimentary drinkies:). Dani is a star in the making attention to detail is above and beyond and she is a ray of sunshine.
