Not at all sure about the paper towels at the back wash, and the building work is obviously covering everything in dust, but Louise is a consumate professional and was brilliant as always. very happy with my cut. Will be interested to see how it is when finished.

Always a happy welcome to the salon from reception (Andrea). Sadly not always the case from others on front desk. Fantastic cut as always from Jessica. In recent months I’ve noticed how worn / dirty the salon has become (strained towels, dirty walls and skirting boards). That’s feeling of coming to a salon to be pampered and feel relaxed hasn’t existed for quite some months. If I’m honest I come to the salon for a great haircut from Jessica. The overall service and experience doesn’t match the price you charge.

Sam, my stylist always takes the time to discuss my colour and cut and always advises on different styles etc... I feel totally relaxed and very pampered with each visit.

Lovely friendly service, only place I go for my hair. Highly recommend

As always a great colour, cut and blow dry from a highly professional and yet warm and listening stylist. Cannot fault Sam for anything. Commercial Rd salon not as pleasant an environment as Church St but no complaints from me.

A lovely salon. The staff are always so attentive and helpful. I am always delighted with my haircut. Abbie is a very skillful hairdresser and advises me well on colour and cut.

I always feel in good hands with Sam. He knows what I want doing with my hair and any problems I have with it. He is always makes you feel special and he is easy to talk to. Also Sophie who is training at the salon is very polite and helpful and also is easy to talk to and does a good job of looking after you.

Really pleased with my colour
( Mia ) and as usual great cut and blow dry by Emma. Service is usually top notch but my only critique today was when I had my hair rinsed after my colour. I think I had Meg who didn't ask me if the water temp was ok and if I'm honest I felt a bit rushed with her. Not a huge deal as normally don't have any complaints at all but thought you would want to know. Would definitely normally give 5 stars for service and atmosphere.

I had half a head of foils, cut, blow dry and straighten with Emma. As always it was an enjoyable experience. She always checks what I would like done and offers her opinions which is nice. Everything is always completed professionally. Thanks Guys!

John my stylist is as exceptional as ever. However the salon itself looked liked it needs sprucing up. Light bulbs were not working and it looks tired.
In addition, personally I prefer a proper towel on my head to dry my hair rather than the J cloth.

I continue to go to the salon to have my hair cut by John but I think some future investment is needed to upgrade the salon.

Excellent as always. John has been my hairdresser since a few weeks after he joined Peter Prosser. I have never had such a talented stylist. John makes my very fine hair look amazing.
This week Lucy coloured my hair. Which she has done for many years. Mia also colours my hair. The are both excellent.

Staff as always were friendly. I was early so was offered a cuppa. Sam made a great job of cutting my hair, his attention to detail is second to none. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Salon was noisier than usual - partly because all procedures were unusually done downstairs but, as ever, Mia and John made me feel comfortable and relaxed and revived my hair and spirits wonderfully: a great team!

Staff are excellent as usual but it appears that those who introduce alternative equipment have lost the plot. I can only assume the introduction of the white j cloths is a cost cutting measure. Why have you done this? It is tacky and cheap and not what I expect from a leading salon that I wish to use.

Had a clour and cut with Marie. A very pleasant and engaging stylist. Very happy wirh the cut and colour. All staff were kind and helpful. The coffee was good too. An all round lovely experience. Well done. Will book again soon.

Kelly cut my hair just as I’d wanted it and blew dry it well too. Kelly is also very funny chatty and engaging, so it’s always a pleasure to have my hair cut by her.

I’ve been coming to this hairdresser for years having my hair cut and coloured every 3 weeks. They do a very good job. Unfortunately I’m not happy that after 21 years of coming here. I now have to pay to have a dry off after my colour. This means that I leave the salon with wet hair. ????

Service by the staff was fantastic especially John and Charlene. They went above and beyond to help lighten my hair...no easy feat with the 20+ years of colour build up!! The cut I received from John the week previously was brilliant. Very satisfied with my overall experience. Still some way to go to achieve the finished effect i have in my head but i am not far away from it after one sitting!! I will not hesitate to continue to go back over the months coming to achieve this. Thank you so much. Definitely recommended.

My visits may be only infrequent compared to some, ( every 6weeks), but I have always booked with a senior stylist and beem prepared to pay top price for a cut and blow dry. Today I couldn't help notice that the salon was very noisy, not because of busy-ness, and not the relaxing experience I have enjoyed before. The appearance of the salon seems a little tawdry, light bulbs not working, floor not swept. Not all stations had a hair drier! Please don't let this little haven become a down market cut and dye shop. The more mature clientele might take their disposable income elswhere to spend.
