Wow! What can I say!
I am an older lady with ADHD and social anxiety. I normally avoid salons due to this and normally have my hair done at home. Unfortunately the lady is no longer available.
I popped in the salon a while back and had a skin test and made an appointment. Unfortunately my anxiety got to the better of me and I cancelled the appointment. I bit the bullet and made another appointment.
The best decision Ive ever made!
I was made so welcome!
Sat down and was introduced to a lovely young lady called Abbey.
I explained that I was nervous, explained my ADHD and being completely out of my comfort zone. I felt so reassured, and we spoke about what I was looking for.
I spent a long time in the chair but Abbey was always reassuring me and asking me if I was okay and had lots of coffee! She also accompanied me outside for a cigarette whilst my hair was processing.
Came back in sat for a while for the hair to get to the desired colour. Hair washed, toner applied all the while Abbey assuring me that it will look lovely after haircut, blow dry and style.
When finished I fought back tears. Ive never felt so happy with my hair. What a amazing,kind and caring young lady Abbey was from start to finish. I even gave a big hug before I left.

My 13 year old daughter had a great first experience at this salon.
The trainee hairdresser was very caring and regularly asked how my daughter was feeling and if she was happy with each stage of the experience.
The teacher regularly checked in and assessed the trainee.
