I’ve been coming to Fleet salon for 7 years and , despite the staff changing sometimes , have never had anything but a warm and friendly welcome. All the team are lovely. I think they must be carefully chosen to fit in with Zappas ethic .

However your email today confirming my next booked appt provided a decidedly sour note.
I have attended your salon for years and have only rescheduled an appt a few times with plenty if notice . I have also been fine when your salon had rung me to reschedule due to a stylists sickness - usually on the same day as my appt.....because that is called compromise in the face of what life throws at us all.
To now darkly introduce a cancellation payment to loyal customers leaves a very nasty taste ....and reciprocally will your customers receive compensation when the salon contacts them to reschedule an appt.
Will be seriously reconsidering whether to use your salon ......which is sad when I value Millie's work & service so much.
Is the salon in such dire straits you send such an email ? - maybe better to only introduce this penalty to repeat " offenders" , just a suggestion

I had my hair done by Kay today for a balayage, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Kay was so lovely, honest, and made the whole process feel easy and relaxed.
Everyone at the salon was so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I've had a real struggle finding a hairdresser I trust, so I feel incredibly lucky to have found Zappa and Kay.

I first chose Zappas after a breast cancer diagnosis as they were listed as a salon registered to deal with medical hair loss. I have been seeing Milly now since September 2025 and she has been amazing.
She has been great at listening to how I feel about my hair and also making great suggestions.
In the end I didn’t have to have chemotherapy but other side effects have caused thinning.
I’ve always come out of the salon loving my hair. Milly has been great.

I had decided I needed a restyle and despite my usual stylist being unavailable, Zappas were great at fitting me in with another stylist. My hair has a mind of it's own so I'm sure it was a challenge. Chloe was patient, methodical and professional listening to my wishes and did a great job. She offered that I could come back if I needed any adjustments, so I did a couple of days later. I've had lots of compliments and am really happy with my restyle.
