BOX Hairdressing

***** ruined my hair. Cut it un-even, and took a lot more off the front than I asked for (asked for an inch off - between one and 2 inches taken off back but front she took FOUR inches off. I stopped her when she cut the first piece - her response "it's hair it will grow". By then of course unless I wanted to look really bad had to let her try and match the rest. She also took a strand to color match from top of my head not underneath so now have big tuft showing. Didn't bother ringing back for results of color test based on experience. Shame - it seemed a busy place so I thought it would be good. But sadly put me off returning ever again. And also very very expensive.

This is my second visit to Box and have been impressed again by the knowledge and skill of my stylist. She spent the time to discuss my ideas and checked st each stage that I was happy with her to continue. Will booking again in the near future.

It was my first experience at The Box and I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. KylI my stylist was lovely and gave me some great advice. Have booked to go back, that's how impressed I was with my experience.

I would recommend Peter to anyone. His knowledge is superb, his advice is invaluable, and unlike some other hairdressers, I feel that he cares about what is best for my hair rather than just constantly trying to sell me styling products I don't need. Once you try him, you never need to look for another hairdresser.

Krista spent time listening to what I wanted and what I can cope with (I am not good at hair so need and appreciate a good cut). Then from the washing, which was very well done and relaxing, through to the bit with the mirror at the end this was a really good salon experience and I am very pleased with my new style. Really happy with my hair, as always.

Despite living a long way away I come back to Box to get my hair done every time! Krista is fab - always listens to what I want and gives an honest opinion about what will suit me and my hair type - both colour and cut. Visited today for a half head of highlights (lovely natural look) and restyle. Knowing I can trust the expertise at this salon meant I had the confidence to cut my long hair to shoulder length which I love.

I come here for a cut and blow dry every 8 to 10 weeks. I usually have the same stylist as I find her style of cutting suits me. I never leave there feeling disappointed. The salon is usually very busy. All the staff are friendly and efficient . They make you feel very welcome. There is a good range of products for you to buy should you wish to.
All in all a great service.

I have been going to Box for my last three haircuts and see Becca. She always listens to what I like and does a great colour and cut. I've had comments from colleagues who have really liked my cut.
The staff are always friendly and I always feel relaxed once I've finished.

After waiting for years to pluck up the courage to try a new hairdresser/salon, I took the plunge and am really happy I did. Had a wonderful pamper and "new do" afternoon with Emma today and would like to say a very big "Thank You". Am really pleased with the results. I'll definitely be back!! Happy Birthday 2! :-)

Hairdresser did not listen to me. Too busy talking to colleagues. Cut my hair far shorter than I asked for and layers in-even.

One thing I would like to say that often when I want to buy a product it is not in stock. This Saturday was no exception. Although Lucy did her best to find an alternative which she did successfully - however not the product I wanted to buy or that she had recommended.

So pleased with my haircut it was just how I wanted it!
It had been a while since i had Mark cut my hair, i should have been back to him sooner!

I was welcomed to the salon
I was offered a drink
The stylist, Grace, listened to what I wanted in the way of change to my style
The young lad who washed my hair was polite and pleasant
Care was taken and I came away pleased with the cut and service
I appreciate the training costs, wages and overheads but still find Box expensive - but I will return

The colour and attention from Lucy was second to none. However the blow dry from a trainee was not so the process was hurried, to much product and my thick hair was still wet

Enjoy my visit every time

Grace is amazing - no pun intended - she knows my hair well - always refers to the previous notes and makes every effort to leave you with hair that you are happy with - nothing is too much trouble

I have been going to Box for just over a year and Rhianna my stylist has given me advise about style and colour, and I am very happy with the result, I have complete trust in Rhianna very pleased with the whole experience when visiting the salon.

I've been coming to Box for more years than I care to remember! As usual the service was excellent, staff friendly and welcoming and I've already had compliments on my cut, (thanks Lucy!) even when I see someone other than Lucy for hair up or a blow dry they recognise me and remember that I have very thick hair!! Can't recommend them enough.

I regularly go to the box for colour and cuts and couldn't recommend them enough! Always do their best to give me a appointment that I want. Always on time, and I always love my hair after I've been.

Having been coming to Box for the past few years and it never disappoints. Kylie always does my colour and she is brilliant. It always looks amazing and people always comment how good it looks. Didn't take the name of the young girl who did my blow dry and curls but she did a lovely job and i felt like a million dollars when I left. Would never go anywhere else again.

Today I saw Emma for my 1/2 head highlights, the resulting colour was even better thank before. Don't know how that's possible, she really is incredibly talented & knowledgeable. The only person other than Emma that I book in for a blow dry is Callum. He is absolutely fantastic at taming my hair and he will be a great asset to Box when that 2% of his apprenticeship is complete!
Having my hair in Emma or Callum's capable hands is always a relaxing and friendly experience.
