This was my second time visiting the team here and both times I’ve left feeling nothing less than amazing. On my first visit, Kate (with some help from the rest of the wonderful team) managed to get me from damaged box dyed brown to the most beautiful honey blonde. This time, we managed to get a shade lighter without using any bleach! My hair not only looks amazing but feels healthy too. As well as being extremely knowledgeable, Kate is so warm and really makes visiting the salon a pleasure. Thanks for giving me my confidence back, I really wouldn’t go to anyone else for my hair now!

I am grom Vancouver visiting my daughter and randomly device to go get a haircut and chose this salon.My experience from start to finish was absolutely awesome! Kate was very professional extremely friendly .listened to everything I wanted. Gave me the haircut i wanted. I would highly recommend Kate ! If i were to visit again i would definitely go back to Kate .

I have been going to Antony for several years now for my haircut and his service is always great. Now, my husband switched from his previous barber and has also been going to Antony for his haircut.

First time at salon - had a balyage refresh, tone, wash, cut and blow/ style with Kate. Sooo happy with my hair, she listened to exactly what I wanted and got it spot it on. She explained what she was doing and why she was doing it. Friendly and chatty throughout. So happy - thank you Kate!

I have received a nice sleek professional cut with great technique required for this short bob . The effect is exactly as I wanted and I am happy that my initial indication of what hairstyle I wanted has been discussed so that I can consider the best look suitable for me.

Antony was very kind helping me. I am elderly with a bad back and he couldn’t have done more. My hair looked pretty good too.

Booked in to get a well overdue hair cut as it had gotten too long for my liking! I wanted it just below shoulder level with some slight layering/texture adding to my hair and Kate got it perfect! I showed her some inspiration pics and how I usually wear my hair so it was spot on. I felt in very good hands with Kate, highly recommend :)

Also a perk for those that work till 5 - they have appointments till about 6pm I believe which was a big plus for me!

Had my hair cut and styled by Gavin last week. Gavin listened to what I wanted and gave good suggestions. I was extremely happy with the result and I will now have my hair cut from Gavin regularly.

Always a lovely experience in the salon, Antony has been cutting my hair for a number of years and every time is it perfect! He listens intently to what you want and talks you through every step.

Haircut was alright but was disappointed that during the bleaching process, my collared polo t shirt was discoloured when I was getting my hair washed. A bleached stain was left on the back of my collar. That's disappointing as this is a mistake that only newbies should be making and not experienced hair stylist.

I had a really lovely experience in the salon today. I was quite nervous about going short because I’ve always had long hair but the final result looked incredible, the cut was lovely and Kate who cut my hair did a great job of advising me on hair care tips and products I could use for my hair type. The haircut went 25 minutes over the usual 45 minutes allotted per cut and Kate continued to provide a high quality service despite it being past closing time, I can only get my haircut late evenings because of work and I’ve had hairdressers rush to finish and leave a disappointing final result so I appreciate the time she took. I got the haircut for half price using a discount code that was sent to me via text but I easily would’ve paid full price.

Ben is always absolutely incredible! He’s thoughtful, attentive and so unbelievably talented. I leave the salon feeling super relaxed and happy every single time. Couldn’t recommend Ben and the salon more!!

So happy with my end result. I have Loose Afro hair and have been put off hair dressers in the past due to bad experiences caused by lack of knowledge & understanding. Kate and Antony are both extremely knowledgable, their confident and professional manner put me at ease straight away and they listen to exactly what I want which led to me being fully satisfied with my end result. This is the sixth time I have visited James Bushell and I will go to no other hairdresser as I could not be happier with the service provided.
