At last we have a salon with a difference! With the recent opening of The Leading Edge, salon owners Alan and Barrie told us “Our many years of experience in business taught us that to remain successful you need to listen to the needs of your customers. Many customers have very busy lifestyles and demand all the latest treatments to be accessible under one roof. The Leading Edge provides just that”.

They continued, “Most salons these days are in a time warp and have offered nothing new for years. The Leading Edge recognises this and is a concept that truly has to be seen and experienced to be believed”.

Gone are tiny cramped seating areas; replaced with a large comfortable lounge where you can relax, enjoy a coffee or catch up with your e-mails on the free Wi-Fi, provided. Convenient onsite parking where you can even have your car washed and valeted during your visit. Nail technicians are on hand to offer you manicures, pedicures and acrylic nails without the need to travel elsewhere. A full range of beauty treatments are available now with our beautician both in our salon and upper floor treatment room. A little retail therapy, offering branded fragrances, handbags, jewellery and hair accessories is also available for the ladies!

The men have not been forgotten as they have their own totally separate area which brings the Barbers Shop into a modern era! No need to worry about waiting times as you can book online or alternatively call in and take advantage of the free pool table whilst you wait. The game enthusiasts are catered for with the provision of a PS3 or you can even watch the huge 12 foot HD screen in the comfort of an armchair.

All this is supported by a dynamic, creative and professional Leading Edge team; all head hunted for their skills and knowledge to deliver The Leading Edge experience and philosophy.

This was the first tine i had been to this salon. Omg it was amazing. I first went 3 days before my appointment to have a patch test. The young girl who greeted me couldnt of been more friendly. She was lovely and made me feel special. When i arrived for my appointment i greeted by a lovely man and then within 5 mins Gary came ovee. We talked for a good half hour about my hair and what i wanted. Id had a bad experience with previous hairdressers so i needed some help to how to get my hair back to making me feel good. Gary was absolutely brilliant and after 5 hours i walked out the salon feeling a milliin dollars. I booked for another appointment whilst paying as i was so pkeased. The owner Ali came over to chat to me and again what a great guy. . So friendly and the shop is a credit to him. See you soon everyone. And thank you so so much xxx

Emily has blown my hair about 5 times now and it’s been brilliant every time. I have very thick hair so it’s not the easiest to do. She also recommended some products of my first visit and I’m really starting to see an improvement in my hair condition now. I’ve got another 2 bow Dry’s booked in over the next few weeks.

Emily makes you feel so welcome and treats my two girls like princesses. I trust her so much I just say take as much as you think needs to be taken off off when we go in for our cuts. Im always happy with how our hairs look and feel when we are finished. My girls always look forward to having their hair cuts and can't wait for the next time.

At last we have a salon with a difference! With the recent opening of The Leading Edge, salon owners Alan and Barrie told us “Our many years of experience in business taught us that to remain successful you need to listen to the needs of your customers. Many customers have very busy lifestyles and demand all the latest treatments to be accessible under one roof. The Leading Edge provides just that”.

They continued, “Most salons these days are in a time warp and have offered nothing new for years. The Leading Edge recognises this and is a concept that truly has to be seen and experienced to be believed”.

Gone are tiny cramped seating areas; replaced with a large comfortable lounge where you can relax, enjoy a coffee or catch up with your e-mails on the free Wi-Fi, provided. Convenient onsite parking where you can even have your car washed and valeted during your visit. Nail technicians are on hand to offer you manicures, pedicures and acrylic nails without the need to travel elsewhere. A full range of beauty treatments are available now with our beautician both in our salon and upper floor treatment room. A little retail therapy, offering branded fragrances, handbags, jewellery and hair accessories is also available for the ladies!

The men have not been forgotten as they have their own totally separate area which brings the Barbers Shop into a modern era! No need to worry about waiting times as you can book online or alternatively call in and take advantage of the free pool table whilst you wait. The game enthusiasts are catered for with the provision of a PS3 or you can even watch the huge 12 foot HD screen in the comfort of an armchair.
