I knew I was in for a treat as soon as i walked in just as David’s previous client was having her hair finished off . David masters was recommended to me by a local community networking website and I’m so pleased I took on board their comments and chose David master to cut my hair . I feel like a new women . David listened to what I wanted and also what I didn’t want , he understood everything I was explaining to him and even took time to search online a haircut I was looking to achieve ( how great is that ! ) he talked me through my haircut every step of the way and the attention to detail was Outstanding. ! Trust me when I say that . He is a lovely guy who makes you feel so at ease and welcome . I have never in my 50 years been so happy with a hairdresser experience. Like I was at David masters The apprentice who washed and straighten my hair was just as caring and attentive. To be fair to other salons, we allow a more time per client than most, especially on those important first times. We’re not being critical of the pack ‘em in business model, it’s just not us.

David had styled my hair for years and it's always a consistently good experience. We have changed my style recently and I have recvd many compliments, plus being really pleased myself! Also, Melissa is a great hair washer and scalp masseue. Altogether a relaxing and restorative experience!

I have found the salon using google maps (needed something close to my place). Didnt expect too much. However it was great experience.

Remember, you can pop in any time for a complimentary fringe trim in between cuts so long as we have as stylist available at the time to do it. (So best avoid Saturdays which are usually booked up weeks in advance).

We agree with you about the products. There's something very special about Aveda products. They aren't the cheapest you’ll find on the market but their planted based nature makes gives them an extraordinary quality which we believe makes them good value. The only slightly ’negative’ feedback we get about Aveda products is that once you start using them, using anything other then Aveda feels a bit 'chemical and cheap'. And nobody wants that!

Great advice and service! Was my first time at David Masters and Michelle really listened to what I was looking for! Toned & cut my hair exactly as I was hoping for….lovely tea service as well!
David deserves a knighthood for his services to the industry. Except he's probably too humble. When I stumbled into his RICHMOND ☆ salon to buy Aveda, I had no notion of the genius talent within. He offered an immediate consultation. Luckily, I found an appointment for a cut and blow dry. Even though I'd rescheduled on a busy Saturday he was so kind, intuitive and polite. My long shaggy mane was not just tamed but transformed into glossy bouncy waves. I'm not going anywhere else for hair.
