Loved the whole experience
I followed Melissa here when she moved salon and she was brilliant. Was a busy, full, quite loud salon so not the most relaxing experience I've had but will go back again.
Always a great colour and a great result.
If there is ever a problem (which there usually isn't) they sort it out without any quibble.
Wouldn't go anywhere else for my colour.

I have been visiting MG for years and Gabby has been my regular stylist. The salon is so well run and each staff member enjoys being there. Gabby always makes me look amazing and she's the nicest person to chat to. I'll never change salons!

My two daughters got their haircut here today- one of them for the first time at age 4!. It was a wonderful first experience for her. Ana the stylist was very welcoming and made her feel at ease and very special. She was offered hot chocolate in a teacup....which she loved! She has very long hair which she got to keep after it had been cut short and even got a certificate. Very pleased. My daughter couldn't stop talking about Ana afterwards and how lovely she was and how she admired her pink hair ?
My other daughter had Abi and she was also very pleased. Abi was friendly and efficient.
Excellent experience as usual from initial consultation about my needs to colour, shampoo and cut and blow dry. I was very well looked after by the very positive and professional staff. The results are amazing. Michael is s brilliant hairdresser
As always excellent cut & colour by Gabby. Shampooing facilities on the first floor need improvement.
Anna did a great job with 20 month old Coby's haircut, ably assisted by lovely salon staff who managed to distract him in the process!

What the salon lacks in decor and atmosphere is more than made up for by Michael's attention to service and detail. He did a proper consult with me, asked great questions and really listed to the answers.
I absolutely love my hair and will definitely be returning.
The only negatives I would say are that the salon feels dated and lacks warmth.
But I'm sure over time that will be dealt with.

1st time at salon and received a very friendly and professional service by all. Had a complete restyle and very happy with results. All staff from reception to the lady who made my tea, washed my hair and Nicky who cut my hair exactly how I wanted it.
I had a cut s blow dry with a junior stylist who couldn't have been less interested or caring, she appeared completely bored and had to be reminded of the most basic things. The salon floor was very dirty, old hair around my seat, they don't sweep regularly. Not a pleasant experience and wouldn't recommend the salon.
Allison did a fantastic job on the colour and Emily finished off the look with a great cut. It was expensive but no more so than anywhere else and worth every penny - thank you!
I've found a tag team of dreams in Lisa (master colourist) and Laura (ultimate Stylist!), I could never dream of going anywhere else.
Ana was very professional and explained each step very clearly. She was also very thoughtful in terms of offering me a tea. She gave me several tips in terms of the overall health of my hair, and showed me a few hair products which I haven't used before but will now look into.
Also she gave me good advice about the length and type of cut I should go for, taking my views into consideration too.
Overall I was impressed with her expertise and would highly recommend the salon and Ana as a hairdresser to others.

Have been coming here for over 15years .people come and go but staff are excellent with high standards.they listen to what the client wants and although some treatments are pricey,they are in keeping with the area
The team at MG hairdressing are so good that I receive compliments about my hair even days before it is due to be done again. I always leave the salon loving the experience and my hair and today was no different. Lisa Harris spends time consulting with me about my colour and is an absolute artist. She knows what will suit and helps me to avoid colours that will not flatter my skin tone.
Adam Cuts my hair beautifully and is gracious enough to not chastise me when I have left it a little long between cuts.
The salon has a relaxing vibe with the juniors making sure that I am comfortable and my coffee cup kept full. I walked out today feeling and looking fabulous. Thanks MG hairdressing you have done it again!
I have been going to MG hairdressing for years. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is always very helpful, extremely friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend them to anyone - young or old, male or female.
The highlights are excellent but the stylist was just so so maybe needs more training

Have been going to MG hairdressing for 23 years and I have a fantastic colourist and hairdresser who I trust completely with my hair. They recently offered me some good advice on a hair problem and I'm starting to see the results from that advice.
