I popped in on the off chance of getting an appointment. All the staff I met were friendly and service was attentive without being overpowering. The salon experience was the best I have received in a very long time. My hair looks and feels better that it has done in years.

Lovely cut and blow dry at the salon this evening, thanks... I was a bit confused about the price as I was charged full price for the cut although it should have counted as a stand by appointment as I just came in with no appointment, also you're advertising your first cut half price too? Perhaps these could be clarified?

I got an appt for the next day. The hairdresser was very professional and did a fabulous job. I love my hair now. She even served me tea (twice) while doing my hair. Loved the experience.

Friendly salon although I found it noisier than usual. Having 3 toddlers during my stay from 10am on Saturday did not help. I expect to have a reasonably quiet time when I have my hair done. Also, personally, I don't like the feel of the plastic thing put around my neck(always had towels) I understand it saves on laundry.
Lastly, i used to have a 10% discount for booking early but did not get it this time and I ended with a bill £10 higher than usual. No action was taken when I mentioned it. I wished I had some warning. I have attended this salon since it opened and I am now wondering if I will go back.

Sheen's rebooking system rewards clients for rebooking within a six week recommended period for maintaining your colour and cut. I visited the new "Sheen" salon recently and was very pleasantly surprised with its change of image. The new owner has breathed new life into what was a tired '90's salon. Good service at competitive prices for Richmond. I will be returning and would highly recommend Sheen.

Overall an excellent experience as always with Karen,who always takes time and care. My only reservation is the change in the repeat booking discount now limited to those revisiting within 6 weeks. This is unfair and makes the discount practically irrelevant. I have never visited every 6 weeks not considering it necessary, affordable or convenient. I shall now have to carefully consider how long I can go between appointments to negate the effect of loosing the incentive to rebook. I have been going to Sheen Hairdressing for 6 months and I would not go anywhere else now. Julie has sorted out my colour beautifully and also cuts it brilliantly too. Very pleased that Alison was there to do my hair and very pleased with it however if I hadn't phoned to check my appointment time wouldn't have known salon had changed hands. Very different atmosphere surprised the new owner never introduced herself or enquired as to if I was a new or returning client or even say hello.
