First time at the salon and had my cut with Molly and could not been happier. She listened to what I wanted and fix a recent bad haircut and restored my damaged hair. She is lovely, vey easy to talk to, warm and professional I couldn’t wished for anything more. Grazie Molly

It’s the third visit to Sean at The Chapel Hairdressers in Islington since the initial consultation where time was allocated to discuss your hair without being rushed. You were listened to, given good advice which helped to form an understanding going forward. My natural hair is light brown, quite fine, medium length, and in the past it’s had a variety of styles, none of which seemed to work on my hair. Sean is fantastic at cutting, has “sorted” out a style to suit my hair….and with a good colour.
I couldn’t be more happy with the results and with the Salon, which is calm. The staff are attentive, friendly, and care about their clients.

I booked my 15 year old son in for an appointment. His hair is not easy to cut. Marco did a great job accommodating both of our ideas and a decent hair cut. He was also friendly and fun and it was a nice experience.

I will go to the end of the earth to be in the masterful hands of Sean Dawson. The Chapel Islington it’s an incredibly calm and spacious location, each client has their own privacy in the chair, gorgeous tailored treats and drinks , and Sean himself just knows what suits a person best. I hand everything over to him and I leave feeling and looking a million times better. I have very thin fine hair and over the years my trust wobbled at other salons but Sean restored it and I wouldn't put myself in anyone else’s hands. Sean at The Chapel Islington is truly excellent. With his wealth of experience, he offers thoughtful, expert advice on the hairstyles that will best suit you—and he gets it right. He’s also incredibly friendly, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. The salon itself is calming, beautifully styled, and a real pleasure to spend time in. A fantastic experience from start to finish—highly recommended.

Sean is simply brilliant, so skilled & kind. I realise now that I've never been listened to properly before at a hair salon and never received such detailed advice, specific to my hair. This was my first appointment at the Chapel after over 20 years with another stylist & I was very anxious beforehand but I recommend Sean wholeheartedly; he has vast experience yet he's a warm, gentle person who cares about giving you the best cut for you, your hair type, your face, your vibe etc. I'm in my 60s and this haircut is, without doubt, the best I've ever had. Can't stop smiling!

I used to hate having my haircut. I am someone who doesn’t really know what I want other than for it to look good. Since having my haircut with Sean I’ve really learned to understand what works and what doesn’t and he is also happy to use his expertise and guide me. I decided, after many unsatisfactory hair cuts to medium length, that I would have my hair cut short. I had never had my hair cut by Sean before so it was something of a gamble for me. Me and my daughter went there cause we had a venue that evening. We requested a Gadsby look and our stylist perfectly recreated it, adapting it to our hair.
They were all really friendly and they also served us drinks and snacks (my daughter loved them)
The atmosphere was really nice and the prices are also good for that service.
We fully recommend this salon!

Sean's cut is the best I've ever experienced, as he quotes from one of his inspiring mentors 'I will cut half of your hair off and make it look twice as much in volume ' - which is exactly what he has done with my long hair. And the style is perfect too, as the moment you walk in the salon he can read your mind, give his advise and interpret it all through his artistic talent and ability.

I visit Sean at The Chapel regularly as he is the ONLY hairdresser I have found to really understand my unruly hair. He takes the time to talk through and work out what works best for me and what I have time for when doing it myself. It's a pleasure chatting to him during the process and I always leave the salon with a spring in my step. Lovely drinks and nibbles too :-) x

Really great to meet Marco and explore the chapel. I am very happy with the haircut and in particular thankful for how flexible he was in just correcting tiny bits that bothered me ( which wasn't really visible until a week after the cut anyway).

I have spent 45 years looking for the perfect hairdresser and I have now found him! Sean is amazing! He colours and cuts my hair with the best attention to detail and explains everything to me (I am an anxious client!!) beautifully. I have had the best cuts and colour they I have ever had with Sean. As well as this he is fun, considerate and really listens to what I want whilst gently guiding me if what I want isn’t going to work. Finally I have found THE ONE! Such a lovely welcoming salon too with delicious coffee and nibbles. Always feel so well looked after. I used to dread going to the hairdresser - now it is a treat. Thank you Sean X
