I have used Toni & Guy, Harrow for many years initially because of their reputation. I want good sylists who knew their job and would ensure my hair looked good. They have done that walk in needing hair help - walk out standing tall looking good. Always helpful staff never too pushy with products but make you aware of them. Happy salon gives good vibes and always come away feeling good because my hair looks good. Marie my stylist couldn't be better if she tried. Always patient, she must dispair at times when I walk in with my hair but always sorts it - brilliant. Ok only a guy but never seen any customer unhappy with the service they provide. Friendly, courteous, professional and good ambience. You will not be disappointed

The hairdresser must work on her facial expression a lot. I know that my hair is damaged but I don't need to be told that. I requested haircut and blowdry not an opinion. It felt like a visit to a dental practice. The hair cut was brilluant anyway.

I came in for a haircut as I'm losing my hair due to chemo. The team was very understanding and sympathetic. Kelly was amazing. She was patient and really listened. I didn't feel rushed and they really helped to make a emotional and distressing time more tolerable. The cut was great and gave me my confidence back. Would definetly come again.

Not the best appointment I've had

The one thing I look forward to when having a wash cut and dry is having my hair washed and a little head massage - firstly the water temperature was cold and wasn't even asked if I was happy with the temperature like they would usually do.when washing my hair it almost felt half heartedly done no pressure what so ever. Having an additional treatment as I really enjoyed it last time - came away from this appointment feeling like I hadn't even had it - wasted money spending that extra cash! The person cutting my hair towards the end asked a collleague to take over drying my hair so they could make a start on the next customer in terms of finding out what they want - why would you do that. Maybe I'm asking far too much and expectations are high but I most definitely wasn't happy with this appointment.

I've been a regular customer at Toni and Guy Harrow for a couple of years now. I've always been happy with the quality of cut and colour but, to be honest, the level of customer service has always been mediocre to poor. I've seen everyone from stylist level to director level and the general attitude is pretty unfriendly, patronising and unwelcoming. One of the only pleasant people there (Ian) who I would occasionally see for highlights has now left. On my most recent visit I was 'greeted' at reception by a stylist who was just down right rude. Getting your hair cut is an experiential thing- as well as being happy with the final product you also want to feel happy and comfortable with the people and surroundings. For me personally, T&G Harrow always fails in this second area and for that reason I just don't think it's worth going there anymore. I'd rather spend my money in a salon where they don't make you feel like you are an inconvenience.
