Loved everything about my first visit to Hare & Bone, Fitzrovia (01.09.20).
The Front of House team was really easy to chat with when making the booking, and once inside the salon, I was made to feel welcome, rekaxed, listened to and well looked after.
Amy did a fantastic job of cutting my hair, we discussed a couple of options beforehand and she talked me through everything.
It's a very good cut and Amy's high standards, skills and passion really shone through on the day.
She was also lovely to talk to and nothing ever felt rushed.
I was told I can come back for a free fringe trim - I will definitely do that and more.
Looking forward to the next time, and thank you all for making me smile during my post lockdown appointment.
Hare & Bone and Amy is now my new 'hairdresser's', and I've been happy to share my experience with many of my friends.

Honestly one if the best cuts I’ve had. Solid communication meant Nathan had good knowledge of how my hair behaves. And was not afraid of going for the chop. Feel so cool now!

Even though I’m now working from home I’ll make the hour journey in to see Jamie! All the team are so lovely and the whole experience is calm and rather therapeutic. I just don’t want to go anywhere else as these guys win five stars in all categories.

Booked very last minute after work after eyeing up the salon for a long time. Andrew was brilliant so pleased with the cut and finish especially after a bad hair cut at another salon a few months ago. Andrew was great at explain what would be best for my hair and his attention to detail brilliant! I’ll be back for sure and may even book him for a colour change too! Really happy thank you Andrew x

I've been visiting the salon for a few years now and every single time I've left with a smile on my face. Ernie is amazing - not only is her colour recommendations and application always on point (she knows me better than I know myself) but she always has a big smile and greet chat.

I have thick hair, and a really blunt fringe and she manages my hair perfectly each time - even making time to always accommodate my almost fortnightly fringe trims!

The salon staff are also really friendly, and the great music and Prosecco adds to the experience ;)

Amy is amazing!! She’s incredibly knowledgeable about hair and she’s exacting and precise do that you get the perfect cut. She is also a genius with color. Mine has never looked so good and I get so many compliments. Could not recommend her and the whole salon more highly.

I love Jaimie. Not only does he give the greatest cut, but he also teaches you about hair and maintaining the style at home.

I can’t fault this hairdressers they always deliver. I waited until the rush died down post-lockdown to book so I was able to get an appointment for the date/time I was available. The cut is perfect and colour is a great match for my skin tone. Well worth the wait.

The entire service from start to finish is always great here. Such a warm and welcoming place. The stylists really listen to what you want whilst providing great ideas through their wealth of experience. I particularly love this salon due to the ethos that Sam has built it on; it’s a wonderful independent business that should be supported. Highly recommend, I’ll def be back! X

Very clean and go above and beyond to Ensure covid safety. The service didn’t suffer one bit, despite all of the restrictions.

From the minute you arrive and speak to the lovely receptionists to the minute you leave, Hare & Bone hairdressers are the best I have ever experienced. Not only is it truly a cut (excuse the pun!) above any other salon, it feels like you are being lovingly looked after. Ernie is just brilliant - such a warm and engaging lovely young lady who knew what cut would suit me better than I did. I will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed this haircut experience. The guy who washed my hair (cannot remember his name but has luxurious curly hair) is amazing and the head massage was the best one Iv had at a hairdressers- I’m sure people would pay for an extended head massage from him! Amelia was great as always, knows my hair and gives me tips on how to style it. I don’t come by very often, but the experience doesn’t make me want to go anywhere else.

Amelia is the personification of passion and professionalism. The result? Perfection.

I was somewhat apprehensive when my daughter made an appointment for me with her favourite stylist. I had cut my own hair twice since lockdown because I was afraid to risk infection by going to a salon. I was immediately put at ease by the high standard of cleanliness and all the precautions. I felt much safer in the salon than on the sidewalk. I felt very welcome even though I am probably significantly older and less glamorous than must of their clients. Amelia is a talented cutter, who listens to her clients and can quickly gauge how to cut difficult partially wavy hair. The result was an easy low-maintenance hairstyle that works and looks good. I’m really pleased and will be back, even though I have to travel all the way from Oxford to get there.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair

I visit the Hare & Bone salon regularly. Today I had a wash cut and blo-dry with Jamie. I am very happy with the result. As usual everything was at a high level.

An amazing cut from Amy again. She takes the time to consider what really works for your hair and your personality. I am very happy indeed with my new do.

It was so generous of Hare&Bone to offer NHS workers a complimentary haircut. I saw Andrew once before and loved my haircut and appreciated the thought and care he took to take onboard my ideas of what I wanted. He was really patient and respectful. So, I was really grateful to be able to come back and have another cut. It was a pleasure to come back and I felt relaxed and reassured by all of the steps taken to keep the salon safe and comfortable for everyone. Andrew took time and care to cut my hair exactly as I wanted and you would not have known this was a free haircut - no corners were cut! It was as equally enjoyable as my previous visit. I'm really happy with my cut and style and grateful to them for waiving the cost.

It’s lovely to be back in the capable hands of Ernie. The whole experience was great- easy to book, check in and sympathetic to social distancing, yet still making a visit feel special and relaxing. Ernie did another brilliant cut for which I am truly grateful!

The name of the shop is Kool but I have no idea what a hare(bunny rabbit) has to do with haircuts or what the bone is about but it’s fun n different.

Reminds me of bam bam from flintstones.

Place is full of lovely looking creature with wonderful figures n Kool haircuts.

Although with all this ppe you do feel like your in a monsters inc movie n there panicking over boo lol.

I wholeheartedly recommend checking out Hare & Bone. It’s a great salon in every way; location, vibe and cleanliness (feels very safe and sanitized for any COVID-19 worries). The music playlists are awesome, they have the comfiest hair wash basins ever (seriously), and the people who work there are great - they all exude positivity.
I’ve been having my hair cut by Jamie for years, he’s amazing. He always listens, and never fails to create a great cut. 12/10.

Ernie never fails to provide an excellent service. She listens to what type of look I want to achieve, provides excellent advice and always delivers superb results! She’s such a safe pair of hands - I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair now!

They’re quintessential professionals at Hare and Bone. Even after lockdown, the salon has been refitted with the necessary screens and safety features in the most subtle way possible.
Once again, Amelia delivered. She creates hair cuts and colours that evolve and keep on giving. She interprets what you tell her in the most precise way possible and you always walk out the door with your expectations exceeded, never just met. Her skills are impressive and she delivers them with endearing northern friendliness. Couldn’t recommend this professional more.

Amy consistently provides an artistic eye, able to preempt what I’m looking for (including when I’m not sure what I want!)
Would never go anywhere else, why would you if you emerge after an hour looking and feeling transformed.

I have been to Hare & Bone a few times now and every time have left with exactly the length, colour and style that I wanted. Nathan is amazing- super professional and friendly.

Amazing balayage cut and blow dry with Andrew! Super happy with the result. Also very impressed with the precautions taken by the salon - they have dividers between seats, all wearing visors and lots of hand sanitiser.

Nathan always listens to what you say and gives the cut you’ve asked for. It’s a shame the prices have gone up but understandable under the circumstances - he’s still worth it.

Fantastic haircut - Andrew was great, took the time to understand what I wanted, and did a brilliant job, as well as being excellent company.

Just had my first hair treatment since the lockdown lifted and I loved every second!!! I’ve missed this routine ritual so much! The whole experience was smooth and easy in spite and completely Covid secure.

went to Hare and Bone today for the first time. I saw Jose for highlights but I wanted to move away from bleach and go for something more natural. Could not be happier with the results. Colour is amazing, Jose and the team were friendly and the salon has made great efforts to mitigate the threat of infection.. all round a great experience.

First cut in 4 months. I’ve never felt this new. It’s like a rebirth. Jamie is literally an artist. He’s not only talented the man is an absolute gem to chat with and make you feel comfortable. There are few people I would wholly trust, my parents, my siblings and Jamie. He never lets me down.

More steps to covid secure than I would have expected but actually not surprised as this salon constantly exceeds my expectations. Amazing to feel light headed again, poor amy had her work cut out as it was like chopping 5 peoples hair on one head. THANK YOU!

Particularly during this pandemic, selfcare has never been more important- particularly for our mental health. I often feel anxious about my hair with it’s sparse ends and fine strands. It can be difficult to look healthy. Ernie always has a glowing smile and confidence that puts me at ease and today I finally bit-the-bullet and got ‘a lot’ chopped off. I told her I trusted her judgement and I was right to do so. Not only does my hair look and feel so much better, but it suits me, when I didn’t think a shorter style would. She’s a diamond and I couldn’t go to anyone else.
