Everything was fine and Andrew is lovely but I was a bit taken aback at the cost. I have had the same dye with long hair awhile ago and it was about £70, so £106 sound rather expensive for such short hair. Also there was no restyled as my hair is too short and it was tidy up and therefore the price for the haircut being over £100 for such a short trim was too high.

I brought my 15 year old son for a haircut here bc he wanted something that was a little different to the usual boys cut. Andrew was amazing! put him right at ease and gave Isaac an incredible cut. isaac loves it! And i enjoyed a glass of wine while waiting ?

When I moved to London two years ago, I was of course stressed about finding a good salon for my brittle hair! I found the perfect salon and person to help with my regrowth while safely keeping me blonde. Andrew’s basically an artist with how he paints on hair and will do anything to ensure the look is perfect and I love it. Highly recommend going here to all my expat friends!

My experience was very positive. Watching Amy restyle my hair was like watching a master craftsman. She listened to my ideas and delivered. The atmosphere in the salon is so chilled and all the staff are very friendly. Thank you.

Sam is the only hairdresser in London who can cut and style curly hair. He's the best! I have had Sam cutting my hair for years and would never go to any one else. Amazing.

Sam was as amazing as ever. Offered great advice, coloured my hair beautifully and even cut it at the last minute. He’s so lovely and talented. The salon is very friendly and I walked out of there feeling so great with wonderful looking hair.

Lovely clean salon .l went here as a model to have my hair coloured. Trainee and consultant were both lovely and explained things to me and discussed my hair and what they would do and if I was happy with what they would do . Made me feel extremely welcome and at ease and had 2 cups of delicious coffee . I am very happy with my hair and the treatment I got from the salon today perfect 10/10 . Throughly recommend it to friends .

Sorry to say that this was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had in the last 15 years. My hair is short and every time I go to the hairdresser, they take great care and attention because it’s very hard to hide lack of thereof in the short styles.
The stylists seemed always in the rush, didn’t show passion during the process and honestly I felt pretty disappointed at the result and unfortunately now I have to wear it and cannot so much about it. The cut is sloppy, lucks finesse and precision.
I also wanted to freshen up the blonde- had to go back for correction as first try resulted in minimal change and hair looked very much the same. After the second time, I have now almost solid blonde on the top, with hints of blue and yellow ( sad emoji) and block of dark in the back.
***** was keen to do whatever to fix it but I feel she didn’t provide any input and just went and did the max so I would stop complaining maybe… I have to say- I hate the way my hair looks after this experience and of course I wasted time and money to make it look good. I’m sad and disappointed and will have to look for a new salon to try out next time.
One more thing to add- the blow dry is truly and honestly the worst ever. It is done by a junior I assume… and she just flattens the hair down while drying it so much that I come out looking like I am wearing a crepe on my head. My hair is thin and it needs a lift and added volume not continuous flattening down while drying. I had it done twice and both time it was the same girl with 0 understanding about how the hair should be dried. Overall, very sad and upsetting experience

Amy is an amazing stylist who has been doing wonderful job with my hair ever since the salon opened in Fitzrovia and I won’t go anywhere else!!

Without any doubt I can say this was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon.
Amelia took so much care of me from the very first moment; from the consultation, the way she washed and massaged my hair and scalp, to the cut itself and the application of the products, you could see she is a professional and very passionate about what she does.
Also the atmosphere in the whole salon was great and comfortable.
I am definitely coming back here!

Amy is the best stylist! She’s very approachable and always concerned about giving me the best possible advice
and experience. My hair can be quite messy but Amy always finds a way to tame it.

Loved meeting Jamie. He spent time talking about my hair type/texture/style, what I like and don’t like. He got to know what I’m looking for in the perfect style for me as well as giving me great tips on the perfect products I could use to get the best out of my hair as well as top tips on how to style such as how to blow dry to get smoothness from the roots, and a smooth, frizz-free finish. It’s so important to have a stylist you can totally put your trust in and know they know how to create the perfect cut and style for you. I can honestly say, Jamie has given me one of the best styles I’ve ever had. I’m now officially going to be a Hare & Bone client - I’ve even booked my next three appointments. Thank you so much Jamie for creating the perfect style for me and for a relaxed and fun chat in between and to the rest of the lovely team including Lee who was so helpful. I have been to the salon for more than a year now and Jamie is an absolute star! He is highly knowledgeable, professional and has great advices. From saving my hair to a badly done hilights experience, to introducing me to a life saver shampoo/conditioner and so on.. I highly recommend. The salon has a lovely atmosphere and the everyone is very nice.

A wizard with hair I can’t recommend Jose enough. He takes time to discuss what you’re looking to achieve, he’s open and honest about maintenance, cost, if it’s achievable etc. I wouldn’t let anyone else near my hair!

Lovely service. Amazing cut, definitely going back. Hate getting my hair cut and I felt like it was a personal and exclusive experience for me! I was able to share my struggles with my hair and I was really happy with the result. Lighter, perfectly shaped and amazing blow dry!

As ever, a fantastic experience. Sam spends time assessing my hair, my thoughts, how I wear it, what I want. It sounds basic but no other hairdressers before Sam did that. I always get compliments on my hair.

Andrew gave me a wonderful haircut. He managed to articulate what was wrong with my current style – something I was struggling to do! I knew I didn’t like it but I didn’t know why. He didn’t take too much off but he changed the whole shape of it, which I think is the mark of an excellent cut.

Wonderful experience, the staff was kind and helpful, the cut was exactly what I wanted and Jamie spent a long time making sure all my concerns were addressed, all questions answered. I will definitely be back!

Simply put, Amelia was fantastic. She made sure I was comfortable before starting anything and being a hijabi, made sure that I didn't have any issues. I was taken downstairs to accommodate my needs which was brilliant. I didn't go in with any idea of what I wanted but Amelia was able to give some suggestions, asked what my limits were and how much hair I actually wanted to cut and from there, we were able to work out what style I was going for. We had some really good conversations about anything and everything which added to the fact that I was made so comfortable. Being the first time that I have actually gone to a salon like this, I was really glad that this was the kind of experience that I had and had Amelia as my hairdresser. Will definitely be coming back.

I have lived in a few cities and have been to a few top colour experts and hair dressers over the years, but Hair and Bone definitely tops them all. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, whilst being the sweetest and friendliest. No pretence, no nonsense . They know what they are doing and will exceed your expectations. My colour expert is Amy who with her expertise (and charm and flair) makes my experience there worth every penny. I have highlights done and I am very particular about what I want . She listens and achieves the best results that exceed my expectations…. even after a lockdown diy experiment I tried in desperation at home . They may be on the expensive side but you will be in true professional hands . Oh and their coffees and Proseccos are delicious
