After being a client of Myla and Davis in Brixton, I was surprised to have such a different experience at the salon in Deptford. I was squeezed in for a full head colour after two salon cancellations in different weeks but I had to really ask the receptionist to find an alternative. Their standard answer was sorry, it is what it is, with no attempt to even offer an alternative or pretend that they were looking into it. On arrival for the appointment, the salon wasn't busy so we had time to chat and show photos of the colour. Things changed when I went in for the wash, which ended up taking 1 hour, inc. a free conditioning treatment for the cancellation mayhem. I didn't have my phone on me so only realised later that I sat there for over an hour.
The colour came out brunette after we had talked about a brown/dark chocolate without red in it. The stylist then said 'it's the closest I could get it to that', after never mentioning this when we started.
Rather than offer this kind of service, I'd have rather not try to squeeze me in and mess up the colour.
Very happy- with her advice, choice of colours and tone . Quick but efficient and attention to details. The haircut is perfect and it suits my face shape.

Taylor gave me the exact lovely, natural summer balayage I wanted. The kind of colour that’s so natural that people say - your hair looks so great! - rather than it looking like it’s been changed. I booked in as a hair model for training day. Lulu did a full head balayage, cut and root touch up for me. I highly recommend Lulu, she listened to me and she takes each steps carefully. And there is a head hair stylist there to help if the trainee have any questions. I have never had a non Asian hair dresser did my hair before, but I highly recommend her to my friends. She is very good with balayage.

Brooke the assistant hairstylist was amazing! At her training today she did a really good job on my Afro textured hair! I have never had such an amazing experience in a salon. The customer service was brilliant - I came in from the rain and straight away she hung my coat up and made me the most delicious hot chocolate!!
