As a blond, it’s always really risky going to a new salon and I was super nervous to get the colour right. I did loads of research and Grit had tones of great blonds walking out their doors so I took the leap and was so happy with the results. The owner Marney was brilliant and really skilled. The salon is amazing, and the service is exceptional! I’m counting down to my next appointment.

I had the best service and haircut EVER! Finding a new hairdresser can be a daunting task, however Andrew was fabulous and has set my mind at ease. He listened and styled my hair beautifully. I will be returning. I left the salon feeling a million dollars’. I also forgot my headphones, I called up 10-20 minutes after my appointment and they had found them.

I am a regular client of Ellie, she knows exactly how to cut and style my hair. Wouldn’t go elsewhere

I couldn’t recommend this salon anymore. Beautiful serene atmosphere with a vast complimentary drinks menu. From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated with 5 star service. Adding bounce to my hair as well as my step leaving the salon.

Lovely salon in such a nice area. All staff are so friendly. Myra has done my hair for many many years. Her craft is A* the salon is very pretty and clean.

Well, this was my first trip to Gritt, and I had myself a lush saturday afternoon of self care! Moira worked her magic on my blonde balayage as always and is always so consultative, recommending the best products and tools along the way. Topped off with a glass of Laurent Perrier, I’m now ready for Saturday night! Love your new home Moira!

Fantastic salon! Marney is a hair genius and has not disappointed once in the 2 years I’ve been going to Gritt. I have loved all my cuts and colours. And she has created a very special place, delivering a truly 5 star experience with a friendly team, comfy and clean salon, topped with a choice of drinks and snacks. I love going, such a treat!

Wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I was offered a drink from the drinks menu as soon as I sat down. My stylist, Marney, was so lovely and helpful. She listened to everything I was imagining for my hair and did such a wonderful job. Best experience I’ve had in London!

Went in not really knowing what I wanted to do with my hair but came out with exactly what I wanted. The stylist was very helpful and I really appreciated him giving me advice on the cut as well as how to style it. Came out of there very happy!

I came in for a toner after another hairdresser from a different salon didn't lift my natural colour enough and left me with orange tones. Gritt were so lovely and immediately saw the issue and corrected it! I'm not going anywhere else.

Could not recommend this place more! Amazing service, so cool that you get a free drinks menu including alcoholic beverages and the massage chairs were great! I also had one of my favourite blow drys ever AND I thought the price was so reasonable. I will definitely be a regular!

I was slightly anxious trying out a new hair salon & getting my first balayage!
I was looked after by Andrew who was super enthusiastic about colouring my hair - the results were amazing, I love it! He explained the whole process/colours and how to maintain healthy hair. Safe to say he’s my new go to hairdresser from now on - highly recommend.

I went to GRITT to have my tape extensions removed and fell in love with the place! Marnie was so attentive and lovely to chat to, that she ended up squeezing me in for a treatment and a trim. I left the salon feeling $1m and highly recommend!

I had been looking for a local salon and had the most fantastic experience at Gritt. Marney and her team make you feel welcome from the start; they give sound advice which takes into account style and practicality. The result was great; hair looked fabulous and lasted for days. And I got to have a mid-PM bellini in a stylish and super relaxed setting. 5 stars.

I tried Gritt London for the first time, and was so impressed. The staff were amazing, the salon itself was really nice and modern (bonus points for a massage chair!), and I received an amazing haircut (colour, cut, and blow dry) I have quite difficult, thick, unruly hair, which most hairdresser struggle to get right the first time, but not here! They did an amazing job - definitely going back! Would highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a good colour specialist.

Just when you thought all hairdressing salons were about filling the chairs and maximising every second for ££. Then along comes gritt.

Remember when you were served a refreshing beverage?

Oh and remember when a stylist actually respected their craft and engaged in a proper consultation?

All of the above is gritt and more. And if you have never had an experience like this, do yourself a favour and book an appointment.
