TONI&GUY Blackheath

I usually go to Toni & Guy in town but thought I would go closer to home. I asked for ash blonde highlights. The colour is very brassy after the tonner has washed off (1 wash) and my hair has been stripped of all moisture. It is now in bad condition and needs extensive treatment to restore it. I have curly hair and it is always a risk going somewhere new but I expected much better. Ash blonde is a common request and stripping my hair of its condition has left it looking lank and lifeless and unable to hold a decent curl...and I paid £260 for the privilege.

It seems nowadays you get treated like a criminal for having high standards when it comes to your hair, and not leaving the salon with black stained skin. First they couldn't find who did my hair colour on my previous visit, then they lied by telling me that person no longer worked there. What a surprise on arrival to see that person was back working in the salon today!!! Then after my dark tint had been applied, I specifically requested to please have the plastic strands to cover the top of my ears (like they do everywhere else) to avoid leaving with my ears died black. She said they didn't have any (which turned out to be another lie, after checking in Reception upon paying the £107.00 bill).
Because of that, my ears were turning black and I asked for the stain-remover liquid in a pice of cotton to clean them myself.
After doing this, the black dye inevitably transferred to my fingers & nails and as hard as I tried, It could not be removed. So after showing them my black fingers & nails at Reception and telling them I have my 50th birthday party tomorrow, they've showed deplorable level customer care skills by asking me to not come back if I'm not happy. I told them you can't take the £107 AND ask someone to not come back, the basics of customer care dictate it's one or the other, but not both.

Thought i would try the blackheath branch as more local to me... I definitely won't be going back , firstly they left me sitting in a chair for 15 min i had to go up and ask when i was going to be seen, the service was not the same as other T&G branches, the lady colouring my hair seemed like she wanted to be not at work, had to ask for a magazine to read, had to ask for baby wipe as dye left all across my face, wasn't asked if temperature of water was ok, wasn't given a head massage when getting my hair washed, little things but this is what makes other T&G salons service a lot better

Been going here since its first opening. Emma, has been consistently great amd recreated all the different cuts I've wanted.
