I honestly can’t recommend this salon enough.
After having very long hair since , well forever , I was incredibly nervous about making such a big change. I’d spent the last couple of weeks looking at salons and kept coming back to this one, so I finally thought, “It’s open… let’s do this!” 🤣
From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. My stylist Jess was absolutely lovely, listened to what I wanted and, importantly, gave me her honest professional opinion. She never made me feel rushed or pushed into doing anything I wasn’t comfortable with, which meant so much to me.
We went for a long-ish bob with layers and some beautiful highlights, working with my natural colour rather than changing everything. I was nervous about losing so much length, but I trusted her — and I’m SO glad I did!
I came out absolutely loving my hair. It feels fresh, lighter and completely me, but somehow like a new version of me too. ❤️
What really made the experience special was how kind and patient she was throughout. She even happily took before and after photos for me, which means a lot because this was such a big change after so many years.
Thank you so much for making what felt like a very scary decision such a lovely experience. I walked in nervous and walked out feeling fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with my hair and I’m already looking forward to coming back. 🥰✂️❤️

Took my daughter today to get a cut, style and blow dry with layers. Ella was the stylist. Ella not only did a beautiful cut with lovely soft layering but the blow dry finish was so elegant. My daughter was so happy with the result I never seen a kid take so many selfies in my life!!!! lol 😝

Ayten was everything you'd wish for in a 1st visit to a new hairdresser. From my consultation visit, I knew I was in good hands. Ayten listened carefully to my needs, offered advice and we agreed a plan. On the day of my appointment when I asked to review the plan, she was v.patient and suggested an alternative option which I was v.happy with. The resulting colour & restyle was perfect. The atmosphere in the salon was v.relaxed and calming. I received v.helpful advice about products used in the salon which I've since bought. Overall an excellent service. I've just booked a second appointment.

Had the best experience with Ella, who was so kind and gentle with me during my first experience here. The hair washing experience was soothing and peaceful, and Ella cut my hair exactly as I asked, and even made me feel pretty with how she dried it. My first time at Roxby and Stevie was great. She really took time to understood what I was looking for. Stevie knew my hair type and how to make it work with the style and the resulting cut is brilliant. Unfortunately, my hair didn’t turn out as I wanted. Wanted brighter blond, came out very dark, went back for colour correction but still not as I wanted. Although Ella is a lovely girl, very disappointed that I’m dark and won’t be able to bleach for a few months now! Don’t think I’ll be back because of my experience of getting it so wrong

As discussed, unfortunately there are limitations as to what can be achieved in one visit, depending on the condition and colour of the hair and safety is always our first priority to prevent serious hair damage.
