Nice lady great cut

I loved Jesica’s blow dry- lots of volume exactly as I wanted! Also fantastic service and experience. I loved it and would recommend.

First time at Edward James Salon and the best salon i’ve been to in South london. Emily was very attentive and has very good cutting styling skills. She shaped my wavy lots of it fine hair and it looks beautiful and feels beautiful. A lively experience in this beautiful salon. Great customer service at front of house. Relaxing surroundings, gorgeous interior decor and ambience, music not too loud. blissful complimentary head and shoulder massage. I’m going back for colour next. I’m happy I found this salon.

Harriet is an amazingly talented hairdresser and lovely with it. Such a joy to go to the salon and see her.

I’ve been coming to the salon for a number of years ( I spend between £80 and £100 every 4 weeks so I would say I am a good and regular customer). Today for the first time, when the amount I was asked to pay what not what I was quoted on the phone, I was told putting my hair in rollers (which I have resorted to asking for as none of stylists know how to blow-dry in a way that wiil hold the curl) was going to cost £20 more. This wasn’t mentioned at the time and has never been charged. And there is nothing on the website to indicate that costs per stylist aren’t fixed and that their discretion they can raise the advertising and quoted price without asking the customer first, atrocious customer service which is a huge shame as I have always had very positive experiences with other staff. Amazing this is a manager also who clearly knows nothing about customer service.

I usually praise the saloon but this time I cannot. The stylist did her best but I had to wait sometime before she could help
I am busy and even 30 min delay disrupts my schedule. I have docs to prepare and deadlines. Everything was going on a slow motion for me
My usual stylist was not there and I asked for a stylist of the same level..
I ended up paying almost 20 £ more for hair which did not turn up at the same level. Shame I was disappointed but more for the delay than the performance
I hate complaining and it might not be anybody fault but I was not happy

I recently had my highlights done with Jessica. It was my first appointment with Jessica and she was absolutely fabulous. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and advised me as to what would work best with my hair. I’m really pleased with the blonde achieved. Thanks Jessica!

I am a regular here and after trying other salons have come back. Will not go anywhere else now. Emily is a talented hair stylist and a lovely woman. Had a really relaxing and fun time. The atmosphere in the salon is friendly and relaxed and the customer service excellent. There’s a drinks menu ffs. Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming to see Ed for about 7 years now. He’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. Gets colour and cuts hair beautifully. Worth every penny.

I’ve been coming to see Natalie for years & have always had fabulous haircuts. I often receive compliments about my cut even 8 weeks later so the style lasts for ages. Natalie is a superb stylist as well as being a lovely person. Always a treat seeing her.

Edward stayed late on a Friday night despite having finished for the day to squeeze in my daughter’s blow dry. We were late (completely our bad), but the salon went the extra mile and then some to make our booking work. EXTREMELY KIND!

This was my first time coming to this salon and it won’t be my last! I had a cut and colour and OH MY GOD, unbelievable. I never thought my hair could feel like this again! It was like straw, and now it swishes like a beautiful mane! The colour is also perfect - I was brunette and balayaged it blonde, and I wanted to go back to my natural brunette roots. The match is amazing! And it still has tone and definition. Plus the whole atmosphere is lovely - really relaxed, gorgeous interior, lovely massage, lovely people! Couldn’t recommend more :)

He is a very professional and pleasant person, I feel totally safe with his work.
I would only ask that the lady who helps Emily be more careful when washing the hair and putting a towel to avoid wetting her back, she left me very wet.

Emily is an amazing hairdresser, she always takes the time at the beginning of each appointment to carefully listen to what result I want. Emily always provides knowledgable feedback on how we are going to achieve the hair style and talks through each step. Not only is the result always amazing, Emily is so personable and lovely throughout, so I always feel in safe hands and well looked after.

Always a lovely experience at Edward James. They make effort to make sure you feel pampered with a complimentary head massage and refreshments. Especially Jessica who is lovely and has been doing my colour for the last year. However, I wish the hairdressers who wash/rinse hair would learn to wash hair properly. I have thick hair and am always left with colour at the roots because it hasn’t been washed properly. It’s always an issue. A quick sweep of shampoo isn’t enough to wash colour out of thick hair..

Danielle was fabulous - I came in for a cut toner and treatment to refresh my balayage ahead of a birthday party . Danielle was sensational I felt a million dollars all day.
