Best colour/cut and style ever!

Such a lovely salon experience.

Aaron was amazing. Did an amazing job with my hair cut in the style I wanted. Provided me great suggestions to make the style work for my hair length and thickness.

I enjoyed an appointment with Ed who always makes you feel a million dollars. The head, neck and shoulder massage before the actual wash and cut was so relaxing and the staff lovely. Thank you as always for making getting my hair done a a luxurious and relaxing experience

The colourist’s name was Shanon . She is not on the list for a choice. I was wondering why? She was excellent. I will have to choose a name of the list which is not correct it was Shannon who coloured my hair. Unless I choose from the list the review won’t reach you.

I am so grateful for Jamie’s work. It was such a great introduction to the salon. The whole experience was such a delight and really made me enjoy the getting my hair highlighted again after some bad experiences. I will absolutely be returning and asking for Jamie.

I have had the same hairdresser for over 8 years and am very picky with how my hair is coloured and cut. Due to my hairdresser moving, I tried Aaron at Edward James in Balham and am so happy with his care and attention to detail. He spent time to understand what I wanted and explained why some options might not give the desired outcome. Love my new hair, thank you so much.

My visit with Dalis was excellent, as always! Dalis is friendly, professional and excellent at her job. First time meeting Aaron, he's a breath of fresh air. Overall a lovely morning.

I had a my hair coloured in preparation for my so son’s wedding later in the week. I had full set of highlights/lowlights, toner and conditioning treatment. The result was perfect. Jess is always a pleasure to be with and did a super job.

Emily did a great job on my hair for my son’s wedding. I had limited time as had a long drive to the venue so she worked quickly and calmly. I left feeling good and happy with my hair.

This was the first time Aaron styled my hair and he did an amazing blow dry!! I’ll definitely be back to see him again

Always a lovely experience coming to have my hair done at Edward James. I always feel welcome and pampered, with drinks on tap and massages when you arrive. Deren does a great colour and cut. It’s dog friendly too, which is a huge plus. Would highly recommend!

This was my first cut with Becca and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the result. She was really attentive to what I asked for -low maintenance and lots of movement - as well as being super friendly ( even though i was her last customer in n a busy Saturday!). Thoroughly recommend.

Emily is fab - the best there by a long shot!! But the salon itself seems to have lost its buzz and the prices have gone up so much in short period of time, you can go somewhere better in the city for less!

I have been seeing Jess for my cut and colour for the last few years. As always, the appointment was lovely. Jess is so attentive and always nails the brief!

I had an excellent experience yesterday- the head massage and massage chairs contribute to the overall experience in the salon. The main reason for my visit yesterday was for my roots to be covered up and for a haircut- Jessica was great at listening to what I wanted and gave good advice. I love my new look.

Excellent experience with Emily and team. We had a good chat about what I wanted as it was in preparation for some special events. Perfect cut and lovely style to finish.

I’m afraid I can’t remember the name of the stylist who cut my hair yesterday but in all honesty I’m not very happy with it. I asked for 1.5 inches to be taken off, for it to be relayered and the face framing at the front to be shortened. I did say I wanted to preserve the overall length but I don’t feel that anything really was taken off, and I was most concerned with the face framing because it wasn’t cut evenly at all. When he’d finished the cut, I pointed out that it wasn’t even at the front; he apologised but then proceeded to take even more length off the shorter side. I actually went into another hairdresser on the way home and she gave me a ‘fringe trim’ and evened it out, but I was quite disappointed with the quality of the haircut yesterday. I did say to your stylist that I was happy with just a rough blow dry because I’d be re washing/styling again this morning, but he didn’t offer to put any products on my hair or anything and I just came out with hair that looked and felt worse than it had done when I’d come in.

Jess is fab- she always gets the best results and she is lovely to chat to as well. My hair looks thick with the perfect brunette colour and her big brush blow dry is unparalleled for volume. I love having a Prosecco or two and relaxing in the salon. An experience like no other!

I always see Jessica because she is amazing! I booked for a full head tint but she suggested a root tint and toner which was fab, we finished with a cut and beautiful bouncy blow dry which lasted 5 days!

Once again Jessica was great - she listens to what I would like and gives very good advice.

I'm so pleased to have found Aaron and Edward James. The salon is beautiful and relaxing. Aaron is lovely and an amazing hairdresser. My cut is perfect and my colour hasn't looked this (enhanced) natural in years. Happy 1st time customer. Will be back.

Delighted with my colour by Jessica to cover my grey. I've been trying to find a colourist for a long time who will listen and discuss what is best for my hair that will give me a result I actually want (I have delicate hair and colour in the past has damaged it). She gives great advice and I'm really pleased with the finished colour and condition. My second visit to her and I've already rebooked again. She's also lovely :)
