Really enjoyed my first Avant Garde hair salon experience. Diane listened and advised as we talked through suitable style ideas to work towards. As my hair had become quite dry from weeks in the sun and the use of heated appliances I was offered a steam treatment which certainly resulted in much softer healthier looking hair. The chair massage was a treat too!
Finding a new stylist is always a concern but I was impressed with the professional approach and knowledge given by Diane. Pleased with the outcome and will certainly rebook.

I booked with yaz due to cost with the 30% off voucher.
When I arrived she was unwell so wasn't working.
Kindly Diane did my hair.
Diane was lovely, Great hair wash, blowdry and coffee.
I think I got charged Diane's price. Which wasn't explained to me before the treatment.
I think the salon is beautifully decorated.
Being in the industry I feel as a new salon key opportunities were missed.
I asked for a patch test but told it was too busy to do this. (I did say I could pop back another time)
She didn't ask if I would like to rebook and gentle sales conversation about products/hair maintenance was missed.
In the world of social media we live in a photo of the cut and blow dry she spent so much time on was missed to advertise herself/salon.
I do feel the salon as a whole is abit pricey.
Overall it was a positive experience.
I had a fab experience in the salon! I asked Diane to change my hair colour completely from a gingery brown to light blonde, and she totally delivered. I’m thrilled with the result. Thank you x

Would like to highlight the great friendly service I received with Diane . From my consultation where she listened to my needs , head massage & cut & blow dry I felt so looked after. Her cutting skills were something I’d never seen before & she reassured me throughout the process .
I felt comfortable in her company & I didn’t feel like I had to chat all the way through it & not enjoy the relaxation.
She advised me on colouring & what to do when I want to lighten my hair. She showed me how to blow dry my new style & what brushes to buy.

My highlights had bleached in the summer and I wanted to bring in some darker tones to give a more autumnal feel - and cover grey. Charlie was amazing. Consultation was thorough and Charlie really listened to my needs. The hair wash chairs are the best and a foot rest and massage feels like you could go to sleep! Charlie used products to wash my hair that she recommended for my hair issues which were brilliant and I have since purchased to use myself. My cut is exactly what I asked for and I love it so much.
