I went yesterday for my first time at Law Salons. I wish I knew about them before! They clearly have a lot of experience. This is a proper hairdresser indeed. From the very first contact with Jo by email I felt I wanted to go to them. Everyone has been very professional, kind and relaxed. Wil was my stylist, he put me straight at ease and even did a tutorial to show my how to use a ghd. They are good! Definitely I will go again.

Laura has been cutting my hair since Laws Salon opened in Saffron Walden and she always does a fabulous job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or anyone at the salon as I have only ever heard positive comments about them. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Wil comes across as confident and helpful for good reason. My curly unruly hair that has been challenging to all hairdressers I visited in Cambridge so far until Wil who did a great job with the colour. cut and blow dry. I'm looking forward to my next appointment and can highly recommend Wil to anyone that has naturally thick curly mid to long hair.

Laura has been styling my hair for a number of years and really does know what I like and what suits me. I like her attention to detail and finishing touches.

As always, Charlotte worked her magic on my hair to leave a beautiful result. Expertly cut and perfect colour treatment, she never disappoints. I feel so lucky to have this skilled young lady as my hairdresser!

After having allergic reactions to hair products in the past. I’d decided not to put colour on my hair ever again. Just thought it was my age ?But after being recommended Laws hairdresser by a friend I phoned just really for advise at first a lovely lady on reception listened and put me with Stephen who is a trained Tricolochist I couldn’t of been in better hands. I had a consultation then booked in for him to work his magic. My hair is better than ever and love the colour but more importantly for me my scalp is calm and in good condition. Also the friendliest loveliest family of hairdressers. They’ve made me feel like I’ve been going to them for years.

Charlotte was longing to cut off the dead dry ends of my overlong hair. She's done a wonderful job, still looks long but so much healthier looking. Long layers to make it swish.

Going from pre lockdown long hair to a shorter style was the challenge facing Charlotte. I thought I knew what I wanted but fully respected her thoughts and opinions on what would or wouldn't work for me and taking into consideration how I was going to manage my hair at home. Having moved to a new area I had to find a new hairdresser after being with the same one for nearly 20 years which was pretty scary. But Laws proved the right choice - the whole team is very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Wil cut and coloured my hair beautifully having listened to what I wanted. It was a lovely afternoon and I will be back?

I would trust Laura with my life (and hair). As a very anxious person, I do not look generally forward to haircuts but I always feel safe and confident with Laura. She is not only a brilliant and talented stylist, she's also incredibly patient and goes above and beyond to keep you involved throughout the process. My appts always start with a leisurely consultation where we can discuss length, style, treatments and products. Laura is happy to look through photos of styles with you and it never feels like you're being rushed. Throughout the haircut, she always takes time to show me exactly how much she's cutting, what the back looks like, how the hair will look and sit when it's dry etc. She takes direction superbly but will also offer her expert opinion when you are less sure of what you want. As with all good hairdressers, she understands hair types and face shapes. She also offers great advice on styling at home but never pressures you into buying products. I absolutely love Laura and will continue to return again and again for her to cut my hair. Special thanks for my haircut today which should have been particularly nerve wracking as it's just before a photoshoot but instead, was a dream. Love the cut and finish!

Will was my stylist but not listed. I have been going to this salon for at least 12 years and have always enjoyed my visit. This time was no exception when Will gave me a good cut and blow dry which looked good up to 6 days later.
